"Patience, Miss Shini," Franquere insisted after she completed her next task, "There is so much more to learn and a great deal of time to learn it. You will be guided more after we land in the Factorial City. In the meantime, I will teach you one more thing before you must then show me what you have learned." The floating metallic head hovered over to her, drifting aimlessly down the corridor alongside Shinritha. "Since You Have Learned How To Designate Your Creative Energy To Your Body, You Must Now Learn How To Direct It With Simple Directions. I Will Show You, And Then You Must Replicate. Afterward, You Will Be Assessed Through Sparring."
'Front :: Mega Barrier'
What Franquere had not told Shinritha was that she could do something highly advanced and mix the Creative Energy of the Veritas with already created energies that already existed, which gave normal creations added effects and boosts based on the Manna they were equipped with. "Just As Manna Can Be Equipped To The Body, This Same Creative Energy Can Be Equipped To Other Concepts That You Can Think Of, As Well, Such As Everyday Objects." This would be important for her education.
Shinritha licked her lips with anticipation, already tasting how she was going to use all of this juicy data for her own little fun games. She did enjoy games of all variety, just like her father, who taught her everything she knows about them. He was still teaching her, even now, through her time with Franquere. "I knew you wouldn't let me down... Frankie~!" She was so lucky to have an awesome family that took the time to make such things for her to have and enjoy, even if it wasn't specifically for her, but the entire family as a whole.
"Front :: Mega Barrier"
Calling out the command, she would point to Franquere, who was in front of her, and unleash directly in front of her a powerful force that would blow Franquere away and suddenly suspend itself as a barrier wall between the two of them. Shinritha smiled and cackled maniacally, as she sometimes did when she was excited. "HEEHEEHEE~~!!! MORE, FRANKIE!!! MOOOORE!!!"
-RED ALERT.-
-RED ALERT.-
"NOW APPROACHING FACTORIAL CITY."
It seemed just as things were about to get interesting between Queen Archdeath and her training partner, they were arriving at their destination.
"PREPARE FOR DESCENT."
Manor Malfortuna would suddenly fall from the sky, hurdling down toward the vacant space in the Factorial City, where there would be something waiting for the Queen upon their arrival.
"TRAINING HALTED."
"WILL RESUME SCHEDULED DUTIES AFTER PROTOCOL IS MET."
When they finally landed, a door of darkness would manifest upon Franquere's command, and the floating Metal Pumpkinhead would begin to float into it.
"SHINRITHA TENSEI, BE ESCORTED INTO THE FACTORIAL CITY."
He did not pause to wait for her, but moved as though he were following outside orders. Wherever Franquere would lead her, that would come first before he taught her what he knew about Manna and Technology, or before they continued their training.
"Aw, dammit, Frankie," Shinritha said with a pout, "I thought I had more time..." Maybe she'd wasted a bit too much for her liking, but that would be dealt with soon. As for right now, all she could do was follow behind him and see what was in store for her at the Manor's new location in the Factorial City, where it and Shinritha would remain. Touching the ground, she would walk through the dark door and be led wherever Franquere would lead.
--Minor Timeskip--
Shinritha, who had been placed gently back into her bed by her father, would remain resting for a long while after their initial conversation. She was still very tired, since the events she went through were so strenuous on her very soul. However, in her recovery, she seemed to be sleeping peacefully and having good dreams due to the loving nature of her last excursion.
Some time during her rest, since it was clear that even after however long it had been, Queen Archdeath had not risen from her slumber, Franquere, who was once overseeing the Manufactory outside, would return to her through a peel of darkness in her room. The strip of a shadow was enough for the menacing red glare to penetrate, and the blaring voice like a siren to alert thee young mistress.
WARNING.
SHINRITHA TENSEI.
MALIGN CODE DETECTED IN MECHANICA.
Franquere heard the voice of all Mechanica, and thus knew all logic that was within them.
"TARGET :: BLUE MOON."
This was the Tensei Moon that she was designated to protect, and it had become a target for another being.
"LOCATION :: THE OLD COLONY."
This was near the 'Scrap Yard,' where the graveyard of Machines existed. One of the defective ones must have still been functioning, and was malfunctioning. That, or someone had gotten their hands on one and it was being used for a malignant purpose.
"Awaiting Orders, Miss Shini."
"BWAAAH!!!" Shinritha cried out as the sudden scream of the voice of Franquere was like a bloody knife in each ear. "DAMMIT, FRANQUERE!!!" she hissed, her eyes blazing just the same red as his. She gathered herself, hopping up at attention, now suddenly alert (since she'd been alerted to the threat.) "... What? The moon?" Shinritha sighed, definitely wanting to remain asleep. She needed her strength in order to be ready to learn more about Manna and how it worked with Technology so that the Dusk could learn them both simultaneously. But apparently, she didn't have time to rest. "What even has the power to blow up the damn moon, anyway?!" She was aware that some of the Mechanica were naturally equipped with very powerful battle functions, but some of them were meant to do things to keep the city maintained in those large-scale ways artificially. "I don't feel like going ALL the way back up there." And she also didn't feel like having Franquere leave his position of tending to the Robot Army being cultivated in the Manufactory. Sending him wasn't an option right now.
"Wait~a~minute~!" She said with a suddenly gleeful, yet slightly malicious joy, "Guess who just inherited a Robot Death Army?" Now she was kinda happy that she didn't have to get up at all. Although, the next thing was... She did still have to learn more Manna. It seemed like training was taking forever. Then again, knowing how Frankie operated, he would just blare a siren out and get her for whatever she needed to do, so Shinritha figured she could rest a little longer. "Just mobilize the Mechanica and have them deal with it properly." Shinritha waved her hand lackadaisically, cackling lowly to herself. "Heeheehee~!!" She dropped back down into her bed and closed her eyes, with a smile on her face.
"Right Away, Miss Shini." Franquere closed his eyes and the piercing red glow in the designated shadow located in her room faded. "Will Resume Regularly Scheduled Duties After Maintenance." His presence faded.
-Short Time Skip-
After some time, with Queen Archdeath given more time to rest, the Servicemen of Manor Malfortuna would return and keep the household well kempt and clean whilst she continued to sleep. They would not disturb her in her quarters, but tend to the rest of the household around her own.
Sooner or later, Shinritha, herself, arose from her slumber all on her own. She still looked tired, with a pale face and ghastly, sunken eyes that were a piercing blood red, something like her father's. She blinked a few times, and they would return to their normal black and white inverted discoloration. She sighed heavily and scratched her ruffled blonde hair, looking around her dark room some. "Shit. What time is it...?" Shinritha yawned and got herself up, stretching her arms out. "... Gotta get back to learning that Manna so I can program it into the Dusk's Manna-powered Technology System." That was important for the next stages of development of the Dusk, to get them up to speed on MannaTech, which some thought was some sort of magic or something. They needed to be educated on what 'Manna' is and how it also functions by itself and along with Technology. "Franquere..." Queen Archdeath called morosely, summoning her loyal and faithful partner to her side.
"The Target Has Resurfaced," the cold, dead voice of the mechanical servant, Franquere, bellowed from the depths of Queen Archdeath's shadow. "Visual." Within Queen Archdeath's shadow, Sinskin would become visible within the Lawless Lands, having been traced to and fro everywhere she went ever since the machines were sent after her. "Reinitializing 'Practice' Mode." From that point on, Franquere would give Queen Archdeath her instructions.
"You Will Receive A Live Feed From The Manna Of The Veritas To Shape Into Your Own Specific Manna. Practice Utilization Of Techniques. Further Explanation After Target Practice. Programming Is Automatic."
Whatever sort of things Queen Archdeath came up with would immediately be placed into the Dusk's technology through Master Control, and each of the Mechanica from there would have access to the standard Manna that Queen Archdeath created for them.
"Target Sight~ed?" Shinritha said in a singsonging voice, briskly turning around to meet the eye of her shadow on the ground and peer into the reflection in the darkness, which revealed to her the exact location of the target. "Heeheehee~! Awesome." The Manna system had just been completed, according to her readings from the Metal Pumpkinhead, and now Franquere should have been ready. "Our latest subject is right on time, as usual, when it's time to test new features..." Never failed. Shinritha giggled to herself, peering down into the darkness with sharp eyes. "Let's see... What shall we try out first~?"
"Target Acquired." Sinskin was snatched out of the ambiguous unknown she attempted to escape into and out of and instead found herself trapped inside of the cage-like prisonous jaws of the 'Metal Pumpkinhead.' The teeth of the metallic flaming skull were like prison bars, and on the inside of the skull was Sinskin, locked out of the Veritas along with the realm she came from, which was in clear sight now that they all had resurfaced from the darkness. They'd been trapped inside of the Metal Pumpkinhead and sealed by the Tensei Curse and the Tensei Seal over them, so that they could not escape. The Sinskin, which was the envoy of that place to test their overall progression as a planet, was not serving them well. "From The Present Specimen They Continue To Send As Their Envoy, It Is Clear That The Primitives Are Still Lost In The Darkness," Franquere rattled off with the rattling of the prisoners inside of his head, "Soon Fading Away. Shall We Allow Them To Pass Away And Deprive Them Further, That We May Watch Them Wither? Or Shall You Continue To Practice On The Prisoners As Scheduled?" When there were new variables present, there were new options for Queen Archdeath to take into account. Franquere merely recited them for her in order for her to be fully informed about her current choices in any given scenario. His face was still plastered upon her shadow, and Sinskin would be in clear view within, behind bars, along with the planet she came from. They were in clear sight for her, if she would still Target them. "They're Open."
Shinritha smiled wide, revealing sharp, shiny fangs under what was once a restrained smirk. Her eyes widened to a maddening size, as if trying to hold back some sort of laughter. "And we'll just seep in through there." The entire planet was ready for her, just like her Father had promised her they would be when they were ripe. "Daddy is just so good to me~!" she huffed happily, her dark eyes sparkling at the sight of her favorite toy coming back to greet her. Where each of the members of the family were promised their own Worlds, consisting of their entire Universes, Shinritha Tensei was given 'Vescrutia,' the 'Lost World' as a present by her Father first during the Blue Moon. She was the first inheritor. "And here I was thinking that they'd just be a waste of space leeching from us, but no, they're about to be put to work... Most useful work, at that." They were going to power the Dusk for Queen Archdeath, as splendid servants would! "Goodie! I needed some things working under me in the background. Ohohoho~." Shinritha would haughtily laugh, now being thoroughly excited about spotting and toying with her latest target, and let her mind begin to calculate all the numerous ways to play with her toys in her toy box, which was an isolated dimension in and of itself.
"Hmmm... All the Manna I want, huh?" She was still contemplating what she would do first. There was a lot of Manna at her disposal, and peering into the Metal Pumpkinhead allowed her to witness it. Naturally, each chamber was isolated from each other, so when the Manna struck the Lost World, they wouldn't know what it looked like nor where it came from, and probably wouldn't be able to trace it back to the Veritas at all. That meant she could go nuts. "Why don't we start wiiiith... Yon Gatom!?" That seemed like it would be interesting. Queen Archdeath, who dealt with all such prisoners and quarantined existences, would point her hand down directly at the location where Sinskin was and wait for the effects of 'Yongatom' to take their course, smiling with anticipation.
The voice of the Ruler called out to the land, tracing the trespasser back to her prison cell. The sound of a voice reverberated all throughout the Lost World universe, as her Ruler commanded the very ground under the Enlightenment Shrine to rumble violently.
The Mechanica within Manor Malfortuna would record automatically the Manna that Queen Archdeath had commanded and transmit the data to Master Control, so that it could be wired to all the Mechanica in the Dusk, as well as remain as a standardized coding for each Mechanica to have access to regularly.
Shinritha continued to observe both the Sinskin and the Prison Planet, raising one of her brows slightly at both seeing and hearing Sinskin say things in her mind and with her mouth. There was something different about her this time, but like all the other quarantined specimens, she could not be trusted immediately. Long had they lost the trust and respect of the Tensei and all the Veritas for what they had done, and truly, Shinritha hated them for it. Even if the outcome ended up being best for the Tensei, the fact that these people existed simply made her want to puke. It was devastating to look at them without her eyes turning blood red with pure rage, but this time, she would hear and see Sinskin, specifically out. "Something is different..." she noticed, finding that Sinskin may have actually been truly repentant. "Let us test Sinskin and see if she is TRULY sorry for what she has done." Shinritha would search through the directory of Manna again and look for another nice combination that she could blend together for the Mechanica to use.
"Zeroleio."
