War broke out between the Witches and the Vampires, thousands of years ago. The last battle was 500 years ago when the Witches attacked the Vampires Lair and killed their leader and many Men, Women and Children lost their life's. There haven't been any attacks since then, as far as the witches are concerned the Vampires are no more.
