jewel woke the next morning to claude faustus, alois trancy's butler, standing over her bed with a smile. " good morning mrs.harwick, may i ask if you had a good sleep." jewel sighed and sat up yawning and streaching. " of course you may ask me claude, i actually slept good thank you. i would like like to ask where is my maid and butler?" claude bowed and backed up holding a robe up for jewel. jewel took the robe from claude and stood up. " thank you claude for the robe can you lead me to the room where jack and meir are so we can get ready for the ball please."

claude smiled and bowed than leaned back up. " as you wish mrs.harwick i shall take you to your faithfull servents." jewel smiled at him and walked through the open door that claude held and followed him down the stairs and past the kitchen. " how far are they away from my chambers claude?" claude turned to look at her and slowly opened a door that was plain white with a gold knob. "just beyond this door mrs.harwick, mr.trancy and your servents are beyond this door relaxing i shall also get your dress from the dress fitter." As jewel went in meir quickly got up and rushed to her. " m 'lady jewel how was your sleep i wasnt there to see you do so im sorry i was cleaning mr.trancys house than i went to the servants corrider."

jewel nods her head and sat down across from alois. "so what is this dress that claude faustus was talking about alois trancy?" alois stood up and over jewel making meir and jack watch him closely. "well i got a dress because i am courting you to ciel phantomhive's ball/party." jewel was shocked, than she remembered saying she was indeed going with alois. "right but i was going to have my own dress." Alois shook his head and claude came back in with a red satin dress with lace and jewels on it. "now time to get dressed jewel harwick because we are getting ready for the party."

jewel nodded as she got dressed

*an hour later in time*

jewel looked at herself in the mirror as meir and claude started on her hair. she felt like she was out of one of the paintings of her mother, she felt like her mother and that wasnt a great thing. she wanted to feel like herself. "so the plan is since i have you for the last day i will win this competition with ciel and you will go home. this is going to be so much fun!" alois exclaimed and sat down next to jewel in a chair. "im going to go get dressed please wait here or get a carriage ready or do roam the palace if you like." than alois left the room with claude right behind him. after the door closed jewel spoke to jack and meir.

"jack, please do get the carriage ready for the phantomhive estate. i need it ready for when me and mr.trancy take our trip i also want you to give this to mr.phantomhive" jewel said handing jack a little bag. " mistress jewel if i may say i think i like mr.alois trancy more than mr. ciel phantomhive." jewel looked at jack as meir layed a hand on jewels shoulder. "jack please for me do this i love ciel and this is the last time i shall see him or give him something. " jewel said weakly and jack saw it sighing in defeat. " alright alright m 'lady ill do as you ask because i care for you lots'." jewel smiled as jack left the room , her turning to meir. " hey meir can you get my necklace from the luggage that ciel had gotten for me and bring it to help me put on please?" meir smiled and bowed. "yesm' ill be right back with your necklace as you asked. i have a feeling tonight will be a long night and a good one at that."

jewel smiled as meir left the room and decided to sit and stare in the mirror. "mother i will make you proud just you wait."
