"Get away from her. Now." The girl with reddish black hair said as she still held her long sword on the back of a certain blonde haired guy. "Scarlet...!" She could hear the brunette girl in front of the guy called her name, but she paid her no mind as she was still focusing on the blonde guy. "Let go of her, or you won't get away from Tsukuyomi." She warned once again. "And you too. Stay away from me." She turned to look at the orange haired guy who was behind her, holding her other long sword on her left hand.

"Pfft..." She turned her head to look at the blonde haired guy again as she heard him chuckle. He had let go of the brunette girl and she was thankful for it, but she did not let her guard down as she kept looking, stared, at him with no emotion on her face still. "Now, now, Scarlet-chan. Don't be so mean. Though, I had tasted her blood." He admitted between his smirk and he could swear he saw the girl frowned. "But, I will let her go, if you want to take her place." His smirked went wider as his eyes glowed red.

Scarlet's frown deepened as she glared at him. "Don't you dare even try." She warned, but the vampire in front of her paid no mind to her words as he grabbed on the long sword's blade. "This little pain is nothing compared to what I will taste." He nonchalantly said as he moved closer to her. "You know... You smell as nice as well, Scarlet-chan, if not better." He whispered to her as soon as he got to her. Scarlet's eyes widen slightly, surprised to see how fast he got to her. "Get away from me!" She shouted as she tried to pull her sword away from him, but to no avail. Then she tried to swing her other sword but to her surprise it did not budge as well. She turned her head to look at her sword, only to find that it was held by the other vampire behind her. She grunted and then gasped as she felt something wet on her neck. "No!" She tried to push him away now dropping her swords as she felt her neck being licked by the blonde vampire. "Let go!" She shouted to him pushing him away but he did not even budge slightly. Then what made her horrified even more was that she felt something cold and sharp on her skin. "N-no... no! Let go! Let me go!" She frantically shouted to him, pushing him harder but it still had no effect.

Something within her screamed loudly and her heart had beaten hard as she felt terrified. Something then flashed on her mind. Something she did not even really know what it was. Something terrible. Something she did not want to see, yet was forced to see. It was not like she was weak and all, but she just never could stand against vampires, that was why she never like to take her patrol post around the night class. Yes, because all of the night class students are the same kind of the nocturnal being in front of her, vampires. The reason the disciplinary committee were only the three of them were all because of the experience. Right, the experience that involved vampires.

Scarlet gasped as she felt his fangs began to dug down on her neck. "N-no.. L-let go of me... Hel-...Ka-..." She panted out as she felt the sharp and cold fangs had been buried down between her flesh. She felt something warm dripped down along her cheeks as the same yet different warm liquid flowed down around her neck. She could hear how the vampire had drank her blood, slurping it down his mouth, and gulping it down through his throat.

The blonde vampire could not stop sucking her blood as he felt ecstatic from it. He had lost it all, and he could not even think of anything else. He could not think that what he had done might kill the girl. The only thing that brought him back to his sense was something warm and wet that fell onto his cheek. He opened his eyes and quickly pulled away as he got back to his sense. "Tears?" He asked as he touched the warm liquid on his cheek. He then looked up at the limp girl in his arms. He was surprised to see her cheeks had gone wet. He was about to wiped her tears before he heard a gunshot and widen his eyes as he saw where the bullet had landed on. He then turned to look at the owner of the gun.

"Z-Zero!" The brunette girl called as she turned to look at the silver haired guy who had stood beside her. She did not know from how long he had been there, but she thought that it was just now, since he would have shot the blonde vampire down to stop him had he been there earlier. She would have actually stopped him too but she just did not know what to do, and she sure felt guilty about it as she saw the tears flowing down her adoptive sister's cheeks. She looked at the silver haired guy called Zero and she could see the deep frown on his face. She did not blame him to have such expression, though. But she did not want him to kill the night class students either. Just thank her luck, she was saved to stop him by herself as someone else came to the crime scene.

"Could you please put down that Bloody Rose? To us, it is threatening." A voice spoke as the owner walked in from the darkness to them, showing a tall, beautiful guy with shoulder-length dark brown hair and reddish brown eyes. "K-Kaname-senpai!" Yuki turned to look at him somehow stood in front of Zero to cover him. The Kaname guy looked at her before he turned to look at the other girl in Aido's arms. He walked to him and spoke, "I'll take care of this fool and wait for the headmaster's punishment." before he looked at the girl clearly, wiping the tears from her eyes and cheeks. "D-dorm president Kuran..." Aido stuttered as he cowered down in front of Kaname. "I'll also take the responsibility of taking her to her dorm too." Kaname added as he took the unconscious Scarlet from Aido. "Is that okay, Kiryu-kun?" He asked looking straight at Zero who stared back at him for a while before putting down his gun. "Please take them away too, Kuran-senpai." He spoke, trying to sound calm enough. Kaname then turned to look the orange haired vampire. "Kain. Why did you not stop Aido? You're as guilty as well." He warned sending him a sharp look. "O-oh..." Kain could only simply muttered weakly.

"For the two girls..." Kaname turned to look at them, and as in cue, someone came down to them and held her hand out to them. "I'll erase their memories about tonight. Then could you two please bring them to headmaster's office?" He asked to both Yuki and Zero. "Ah, yes sure." Yuki answered almost immediately. "I'm sorry that he had scared you, Yuki." His eyes soften and he looked apologetic as he looked straight at Yuki who blushed slightly. "Oh, no, please. He just bit me a little." She raised her hands in front of her before he quickly pulled it down and brought it to behind her back. Zero who knew it quickly pulled her away from him. "Come on, let's bring them to the headmaster." He said to her as he took the girls alone. "Be sure to take Scarlet to her room, Kuran-senpai." He added lastly before he and Yuki walked away to the headmaster's office.

Kaname turned to look at the two guys after Yuki and Zero were both gone already. "Did you understand what have you done?" He asked the two, especially Aido. "B-besides having bitten her... N-no, sire..." Aido weakly answered lowering his head. Kaname just looked at him before sighing slightly. "I'll speak to the two of you later. I'll bring her back first." He said as he carried Scarlet in his arms bridal style and headed to her dorm.

As soon as he arrived in her room, Kaname put Scarlet down on her bed gently. He caressed her cheek softly as he watched her sleep. His eyes then moved down to the two holes made by one of his people. He moved his face closer to her neck and kissed the bruises gently, saying, "I'm sorry to have frightened you again." As he pulled away, the holes were nowhere to be seen again. "I hope you won't turn to hate us again." He added softly as he removed her hair from her face. "Don't worry... I'm not that weak..." His eyes widen slightly but disappeared as fast as it showed as he heard her spoke.

Scarlet opened her eyes slowly and looked at the guy in front of her. "How are you feeling?" She heard him asked. "Hmm... What do you think?" She simply asked back, earning a frown from him. Just then that she smiled a little. "Don't worry. Besides having to remember something unpleasant I'm all fine." She honestly answered as she tried to sit up. "Sorry about that. I'll be sure to punish Aido." Kaname replied, helping her sat up as he knew she still felt weak from the blood loss. "It's alright really. I just let my guard down slightly." She waved her hand brushing it off. "Aren't you supposed to look at Yuki more?" She asked tilting her head slightly.

"I have seen her before and I guess she will be alright. She is a strong girl...and Kiryu was with her too." Kaname answered, with a little venom added at the last part. "Oh, someone is getting jealous?" He heard Scarlet teased him and saw she was actually smirking at him. His eyebrow twitched slightly feeling annoyed by it but brushed it off. "Why don't you actually break that cold mask off in front of the others too?" He asked as he leaned back from her looking at her serious, and he saw that at the topic of it, her mask had once again been worn. "It is more comfortable like this." She simply replied. He looked at her for a while before he sighed, standing up from her bed, as he knew she would not speak more about it. "I'll return now then. You should get some rest too, even though I know you are not weak as well." He lastly spoke looking at her before disappearing into the night. Scarlet just watched him disappeared from her window as she sighed before she laid down back to her bed.

"Ah, you're awake already?" A man with a pretty long ash-blonde hair that was tied into a low ponytail asked a little girl who was laying down on her bed. "Are you feeling something wrong? Something hurts?" He asked with care and worry in his voice. The girl just looked at him not saying anything. She looked around and she could not seem to know where she was or who he was. But she did not even need to bother to ask as the man seemed to understand her confusion. "Ah, sorry, this is the Cross Academy and I'm the headmaster, Kaien Cross, and then, here is my daughter, Yuki Cross." He said explaining and introducing himself along with his daughter to the girl. The girl did not even realise that there was someone else in the room. "Nice to meet you,..." The other little girl called Yuki Cross spoke but stopped as she did not seem to know what to continue. "What is your name?" She asked. The other girl looked at her but still did not speak. "It seemed like you have had a terrible experience as well..." Yuki spoke as her eyes showed sadness and worried, but the other girl still not speak anything. "I'm just glad that Kaname-sama was there to save you too." As Yuki spoke that person's name, her eyes seemed to sparkle brightly. "Ka..na...me...?" The other girl finally spoke a little, earning hear a smile from both Yuki and Kaien. "Ah you spoke! And yes! Kaname-sama was the one who saved you and brought you here. Much like what he did to me." Yuki answered for her. The other girl seemed to be thinking of something as she did not speak again. "Well, if you do not remember your name, is it ok if I name you Scarlet? It is because you've such beautiful long reddish black hair." She heard Kaien asked giving her a warm smile. The girl just nodded. "Then, from now on, you're Scarlet Cross. You'll be my second daughter and Yuki's sister, if you don't mind?" He asked again now looking even more excited. The girl who just named Scarlet nodded her head, and that was the beginning of her second memory, and the beginning of her live in the Academy.
