Stan was a completely different person here. He showed more emotions with this job. He seemed to still be patient, well for everyone but Bradley. Though that was just Bradley's opinion.
“Alright everyone, let's get to know our new comer. To make him feel welcome and comfortable we should introduce ourselves to him first.” Stan announces with a bright smile as he looked around the room until his eyes landed on Bradley.
One of the five people who was a girl with half of her head shaved stood up from her seat. Her hair was the color of purple and red failing to mix together. Her skin was a bit darker than Bradley's but not too far from his color. Her hazel eyes looked around the room before landing on Bradley then closing.
“Hola...I'm Marcella.” she speaks with a thick accent that causes Bradley to furrow his eyebrows.
“And say why you're here.” Stan says softly and she sighs.
“I'm here instead of doing time in jail, I punched a coworker...and maybe fought some others. Lost my job but I should get another one soon.” she says like it's no big deal.
Bradley swallowed hard sitting up in his chair. This woman must be crazy. Well...he was no better, pouring coffee down Stan's shirt. But he hasn't done it before, nor planned to again he hoped. It seemed like this girl had a record. Who was he kidding, he probably had one too or was going to. That was...if he kept up being the way he was.
“Now a little something about you.” Stan says earning a glare from her, but he kept on smiling.
“I like kids...I want to be a teacher. And I love puppies.” she says before taking a seat.
“Thank you Marcella, next.” Stan says looking around.
A guy with long, dark, blonde hair pulled into a ponytail stood up. He had tattoos practically covering his neck and arms. He was such taller than Stan and Bradley, maybe even combined. He had long legs but such a muscular figure. Bradley took note that he should probably stay clear from this guy, he looked like he could send Bradley to the hospital in one punch.
“I'm Toddy, here go get back together with my ex and see my son.” he said in a high voice that Bradley was not expecting. “I also like kittens.” he said making eye contact with Marcella. “And puppies, I spread the love.” he says before sitting down as Marcella rolled her eyes.
“Uh okay, thank you Toddy. Next then.” Stan says and another person stands up. They are wearing a mask, totally not scary or suspicious.
“I'm getting out of here, I did my time.” they say before walking to the door. “Just came here to say bye and you.” they said the last part pointing at Bradley. “Good luck, you're gonna need it.” they laughed before opening the door and leaving.
“Um...someone else please.” Stan says blinking back at the door then turns to look back at the group that is left.
Another person stood up who sat near Marcella and another who was next to me. They had thick brown hair that almost touched their shoulders. I noticed the person next to me looked almost exactly the same as the person standing. The one standing wore glasses similar to Stan's but more nerdy looking.
“Hey there, I’m Marx.” they say in a chirpy voice smiling brightly at everyone. “I'm here with my twin Lars.” they say gesturing to the person hiding more in their overly large hoodie, that looked like a dress on them. “And I'm non binary, they and them would be spectacular but she is fine.” they say flopping down in their seat.
“I guess you kind of said why you were um here.” Stan says and glances at Lars who hid more in their hoodie.
“Sorry! I'm here for research!” Marx chirps and pokes at their twin. “Get up and speak Larsy.” they say how someone possibly would speak to a baby.
Lars finally stood up and just barely poked their head out of their hoodie. The only difference between Lars and Marx is their height, Lars was shorter. Also their personalities it seems, Lars’ hair was more poofy? And Lars had longer hair.
“I uh...erm I'm a guy, and I like to listen to music in my free time… I'm pretty much here for a social experiment or whatever for Marx's research.” he spoke in a slightly deep voice but it was soft. “Am I done?”
“Yes, certainly. Thank you for speaking.” Stan says, and with that Lars sat down, happily it seems. “Your turn now.” he says glancing at Bradley and everyone else did the same.
Bradley sighed and stood up. Everyone made him feel like a midget. Well, except Lars, since they either seemed close to the same height or one of them was slightly taller than the other. Bradley glanced around to look at everyone before he looked at the ceiling. His mind went blank for a moment.
“I'm Bradley, I'm mostly here because of a bet I lost with my sister. But I guess I'm asking her because I don't handle emotions well, specifically anger.” he says looking around once for a reaction and sat down when there was none.
“Well, you didn't exactly tell us something about yourself.” Stan finally speaks up after clearing his throat.
“Oh...well um I don't really know what to say about myself.” Bradley says after a moment of thinking. “I'm shorter than the average height?” he shrugs looking down at his hands.
“Well, I guess it is my turn to-” Stan starts but an alarm goes off. Stan pulls his phone out casino the loud to grow before he slides something on the screen silencing it. “We will continue next time.”
