Noah couldn't have waited any longer, she had completed all the prep work tutorials for the jump sooner than anyone in the room. She was jumping and hopping impatiently until Shaan and Anya completed their preparations for the jump. Her face drooped when she heard that everyone else should get ready before they left for the aircraft.

And now she was in the aircraft, sitting on Shaan's laps and looking at the skies in the small rectangular window pane of the airplane. The aircraft was well above the clouds and Noah's glittering blue eyes portrayed how happy she really was. She was gazing at the group of white birds, each one flapping their wings hard to keep up with the other members of the group. Noah was explaining each and every bird's moments and the way the earth looked from above to Shaan and he was nodding and smiling at every word his princess was uttering.

But Anya was not only watching the happiness that her little frail daughter was having. Sitting beside her, she observed the other side of Noah that she had never seen before, a state of persistent happiness that was never there on Noah's face before. Anya started to think

That means... Miracles do occur. And if they do... Noah is going to live...

Anya couldn't take her eyes out of her daughter's face. She was constantly watching the way she talked, the way she smiled and the way she expressed the things to her father and it all felt like first time for Anya. Her hope got more and more strong

Noah is going to live... She is going to live...

Varun came in from the cabin of the pilot and he was holding a pad and he called out Shaan, Anya, and Noah. He was a medium short boy, with dark complexion and deep brown curly hairs. He smiled whenever he said something. Hearing their names, all the three raised their hands and he gestured them to cross-check some of the hand signals that had been taught in the prep class. When he got satisfactory answers from all of them, he said with a smile

"Well then, we have already reached 12000 feet and this is the jump line, so please do buckle up the hooks of your jumpsuits and fit the helmet properly to your head..." He looked at Noah who was giggling with her father and said: "And don't worry as this is your tandem jump, you will be having someone to your back who will push you from the plane and they are the ones who will take every measure to make you land safely!"

He went in again and this time Noah looked at her mother and said with a giggle

"Mama... we will be flying with the biiiiirds!"

"Yes, my darling!" Said Anya making Noah's thin wisps of blonde hair and locking the helmet on her head. Varun came out of the pilot room and this time he was ready too.

"And we shall be jumping now!"

He was accompanied by two other men who were also covered with the skydiving gear and they held the parachute backpacks. The aircraft slowly started to empty out as the respective instructors made the people jump out of the plane. And at last only people who remained on the aircraft were Noah, Shaan, Anya, Varun, and his companions. Varun came closer to Noah and said

"Shall I accompany you?"

"No..." snapped Noah sniffing in and rustling the force of the air that was coming through the opened door of the aircraft. She looked at Anya who was shocked by that sudden reply

"Mama! I want to fly alone..."

Varun was stunned but when Noah didn't hear, Shaan told he would take all the responsibility if anything happened. And at last, as her wish

Noah jumped all alone...

Anya was watching the blue sky beyond the window pane of her home. It had been two months since the flight, and it had been two months since the last time Anya had heard Noah's giggle.
