I dropped my skateboard on the ground and ran inside nothing had prepared me for what I saw. I saw my siblings getting beat by my parents a belt in my dad's hand and a knife in my moms. Lilly and Addison were already on the ground unconscious. Brody is standing in front of them taking hits protecting my sisters. I ran inside pushed Brody out of the way and took a belt to the face. I fell down and brought my knees to my chest and protected my head with my hands so they couldn’t kick me in my most vulnerable spot my side. Josh ran in and tried to help me.

“TAKE MY SIBLINGS!” I yelled

He took my little sisters and ran out. Brody thank god was able to move so he crawled out then everything went black.

I gasped and sat up as fast as I could looking around I saw what looked like a hospital room but that couldn’t be I was just in my house a second ago getting hit by a belt. Then I felt almost a crushing weight on me. I heard crying and looked to see who it was it was Josh he was hugging me so hard I couldn’t breathe.

“Can’t breathe” I managed to get out

“Oh sorry” he sat up and as he did I saw red lines on his face like he was crying.

“Oh my god where are my siblings are they ok are they hurt”

“They are fine” his voice sounded as hard as stone but it wasn’t Josh who gave me that answer it was my dad. I got up slowly put my face level with his

“Get out” it sounded like a bull ready to attack and I meant to say it that way quiet but hard.
