The next day I just got up picked out a movie and a bottle of wine going down to his little late the house looks so different in the daylight somehow it still looked dark almost too dark actually almost frightening even though it looked so sweet almost like it looked too innocent if that makes any sense? I walked down the little path to the front door so I rang the little bell and within a couple seconds he opened the door he had the same style of hair as he always did and a loose fitting white shirt on his skinny form as well as a blue and black over shirt

"Hey," He smiles fixing a bit of his hair

"Hey, sorry I'm early" I smile

"Ohh no it's okay, your lucky I only just got out the bath" he laughs "Sorry come in" he smiled so I followed him inside to a big open plan living room with a huge tv on the wall and a little two-seater blue sofa and a couple armchairs, there was a little light brown coffee table sat on a old beaten rug between the sofa and tv on the other side was a little kitchen with a lot of counters and tables with marble tops there where a lot of little gadgets in the kitchen I'm sure they all had a purpose but I had no clue what it was for any of them the end of the room had a glass door that looked out to the large garden and a little spiral staircase in the corner

"Nice place" I smile

"Thanks, it does the job I suppose, it's a roof for me and Lulu" He laughs

"Lulu?" I ask him

"Ohh yeah, my uh my pet" he laughs

"Aww how sweet" I smile

"Would you like a cup of tea or go straight to a glass of wine?" he asks

"a cup of tea please" I smile "so who's Lulu?" I ask

"my little bunny" he smiles getting a couple cups and starting to make some tea "she'll be around here somewhere" he shrugs as he poured the tea "So did you bring a movie for later?" he asks

"Yeah, one of my favourites, kinda long but" I shrug putting the box on the table he took it having a detailed look

"Ohhh violence, gore and sexual scenes very interesting" He laughs "I was going to give you the tour right? Your mind I not bother? Just cook us up some snacks and stuff for the movies the rest of the house instantly really interesting just the two spare rooms the upstairs bathroom and my room" he shrugs "Unless you... wanted to see my room?" he asks

"No it's alright, yeah I'll help out making some snack stuff" I smiled

"No no, your my guest I couldn't ask you to go on get comfy on the sofa or a chair the blankets are in the little cupboard behind the tv get comfy," he says giving my hand a little kiss.

When I set up the little sofa and he was done we just sat on the sofa sharing a blanket for hours watching movie after movie, nothing happened nothing went wrong I spotted him looking at me

"What?" I ask him

"You're beautiful felicity" He smiled "could I... could I kiss you?" he asks

"I met you yesterday?" I tell him

"So what?" he shrugs

"No" I answer

"why not? Do you not like me?" he asked

"It's not that Arthur I mean I met you yesterday your sweet and very handsome but again yesterday, you have to at least ask me on a date first" I explain

"I thought... this was a date?" he asks fixing his hair, "I thought you really liked me? I mean I really like you" he says "Please, I can take you on another date on Monday right after work? Then could I get a kiss?" He asks

"Well I Uhh-" I began

"Please felicity, just one little kiss?" he begs "You act like your scared of me" he laughs and I don't answer "You- you are scared of me? Why what did I do? Did I say something? Was I being too pushy? Why do I frighten you Felicity?" he asks

"it's not you Arthur, I always do with new people especially men" I answer

"why?" He asks

"I have had a lot of bad times that's all I don't really want to talk about it," I tell him

"Ohh, I'm sorry I didn't know, don't worry I'll protect you I would never dream of doing something horrible to you Felicity, come on you can punch me if it would make you feel better?" He suggests

"it wouldn't make me feel better Arthur" I laugh

"You're sure?" he asks

"Sure" I smile

"Aww, I would do anything to see you smile, it's so sweet" he smiles

"I should get going, it's getting dark," I tell him

"Of course, have you had enough to eat you can take some home with you if you like?" he asks

"no thank you, it's alright" I smile getting my things

"Well okay would you like to go out Monday night? We could go into town to a bar? Or a restaurant? Or you could come over here again and we could order in? Or you could come and I could cook you some nice dinner?" He suggests

"Uhh, take out here I think less expensive" I smile

"Okay, so I'll see you Monday night then I'll meet with you on the train home" he smiles as I went to the door

"Yeah sure" I smile

"Great, well goodnight felicity" He smiles giving my cheek a little kiss blush rising to his cheeks "goodnight Arthur, have a nice night" I smile giving his head a little kiss and going off home.

This went on for days almost any time he could convince me I would go over he would make me dinner he would do anything for me to make me smile, to make me happy. he used to give me presents by the thousand and always send me little letters through my post box days he didn't get to see me, it was all sweet and cute at the time I admit that I grew fond of him in this time.
