King: what is this meeting about?

Servent 2: it's about your borders, they want you to release the servants you have enslaved for half of what they supposedly owe you

King: oh, and I am having to make this decision myself?

Servent 2: umm, yeah. Its ordered that every decision goes through you. Are you sure your okay?

King: yeah i'm fine, i'm letting Katy do all the talking.

Katy: okay so what do you think, i can't make this decision on my own, i don't have the authority.

King: how full are our stalls

Katy: overflowing

King: can we release half of them for a quarter?

Katy: so you still don't want to release them all

King: i don't want them to think anything has changed

Katy: okay, which half would you like to release?

King: the half that does not currently have jobs

Katy: so that the castle can still maintain its self?

King: yes, i think I have a plan on how to replace them all so that I can release all of them

Katy: okay, so what do I tell them?

King: tell them that I refuse to release all at this time, however I am willing to release half of them for a quarter of what “they owe” as long as they do not venture back into the walls

Katy: so you still haven't changed, you want to use us as slaves

King: be patient. I know how to release all of you, but you have to give me time.

Katy: okay. I still have my doubts

King: how many do we have?

Katy: 4298

King: well, that's a lot, how many currently have “jobs”

Katy: 2100 exactly

King: tell them half and release the 2198 that do not have jobs, as a little gift per say

Katy: okay, but don't tell them exactly how many right?

King: yes. If they ask anything else use your best judgement and figure it out

Katy: okay yes sir

King: i am not going in there with you, tell them i am still sick, however I am awake and relayed the information to you

Katy: got it, where are you going during the meeting

King: in that big ass dungeon we got to tell the head murder to start releasing

Katy: okay sir

*they reached a large door, big enough for a dragon. Katy went inside and closed the door behind her, the king sighed and began walking back towards the dungeon*

Dungeon master:sir, you want me to what?

King: i want you to begin loading up all slaves that do not currently hold a purpose and begin preparing them for travel

Dungeon master: why?

King: don't worry about it, just get it done

Dungeon master: okay if you say so

*all of the slaves are loaded in 34 vans, they are motored to the front of the castle, the king goes to his bedroom and watches the front until the meeting is over, he sees both king and queens walk out with katy, they shake hands and they mount their horses. The vans follow, the king watches as katy comes back inside and with in 2 minutes is inside the king's bedroom*

King: so i assume they took the deal?

Katy: yeah they did, in a heartbeat. They started asking a bunch of questions about why you were willing to comply, all i told them that it’s what you wanted and I’m just the messenger

King: perfect. Now time for plan b to get the rest out

Katy: wait you actually have a plan?

King: remember that story earlier?

Katy: yeah? What about it?

*the king brings back him laptop and turns it to her, she reads and as she reads more, her eyes get wider and wider*

Katy: what the hell does this have to do with anything?

*the king turns the laptop around and blushes a little*

King: sorry wrong tab, this one

*she reads and nods as her eyes get closer and closer to the bottom.*

Katy: sounds like it should work

King: i hope so, i'm kinda new to all of this.

Katy: well, so far your doing alright

King: oh, and another thing. How many people do we have

Katy: where?

King: in the kingdom

Katy: around 4 million

King: humans?

Katy: yes

King: how many are employed

Katy: not even half, employment rates are down

King: minimum wage?

Katy: as low as 4 cents

King: well dam, sounds like i drove this bitch into the dirt.

Katy: yeah, just a little

King: okay. For now, i think the best course of action is to spread the wealth

Katy: and how do you plan to do that exactly?

King: why through wages and banks

Katy: our bank has been asking us for a loan for years.

King: and we will give them double what they ask

Katy: okay, that takes half the gold they gave us, what else?

King: how much did they fork over?

Katy: 7 million gold sir

King: hum, well i guess we give all small business a loan. Then raise wages

Katy: i don't think that's a good idea

King: why not

Katy: that brings too much attention to us, plus that's to straightforward

King: i suppose your right inflation and things

Katy: what? No, its freaking gold we are talking about.

King: oh yeah. So what do we do instead

Katy: we lower taxes. Most of the time they are double that of the cost of the product

King. lower it to be equal. Then we lower again in a months time

Katy: okay sir

King: oh, do we have a copy machine?

Katy: a what?

King: a machine that copies paper onto more paper

Katy: no, i don't think we do

King: what about a printer?

Katy: yeah, it's in the printer room

King: we need to print out at least 600 copies of this flyer

*the king turns around to reveal the flyer that he had been working on throughout the who time they were talking*

King: what do you think?

Katy: what is you're plan exactly?

King: i suppose that i'm off track, but i have a new plan. It knocks out getting the garvelask out of hear and boosting the economy.

Katy: that still tells me nothing.

King: i want to slowly replace the garvelask with paid employees and pay them more than what they would get from any job in the town. So that they can afford to buy groceries, which in turn makes the markets have more money to buy more things which allows for more business which should raise wages. After awhile i want to make a minimum wage of 7$ and hour.

Katy: are you sure you don't know what you're doing?

King: i have no fucking clue

Katy: well you sure don't act like it

King: well, i do have experience with money, you could even say im pretty damn smart with it

Katy: *laughs* well okay.

*the king looks up at the clock, he notices it's 10:00 am*

King: hey, you remember that announcement i told you about? Now might be the time

Katy: i took the liberty of telling the kitchen staff to prepare the food

King: awesome. Now tell me how to make a freaking announcement.

Katy: i'm person or over the loudspeaker.

King: loud speaker. An what are we having?

Katy: well, i told them to make as much food as they can, so a buffet i guess?

King: perfect

*Katy grabs her things, and walks towards the door. The king follows an the walk down the hallway, make a left, walk down some more and end up in a room with nothing but 2 guards an a mike.*

King: step aside boys, i'm making and announcement.

Guard one: yes sir

*the king grabs the mike, pushes the button, and starts talking*

King: good morning everyone, i hope you're having a fantastic day so far. I know you all are hard at work and busy with your jobs, but today is going to be a little different, an will be everyday from now on. Right now i want everyone to drop what you're doing an head to the cafeteria. There should be a buffet waiting for everyone so help yourself to the food an enjoy yourself a good breakfast. Guards. Hold your ground until we can get reinforcements out their so you too can enjoy a bountiful breakfast. We will be having lunch around 2 an dinner around 8. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Guard two: does that mean us too?

King: this applies to everyone. An because you're just in here, you both can just come with us to the cafeteria.

Guard one: thank you very much you're majesty.

*they both take a bow an hold it. The king smiles a little, he takes them by the shoulders and raises them up.*

King: no need for all that, please, head their now before the food gets cold.

*they both leave, leaving the king and Katy alone*

King: before we go i have to ask you something

Katy: sure anything

King: do you want to leave?

*Katy is left speechless, she had never thought about leaving. She thinks as hard as she can before the king interrupts*

King: it's okay. You don't have to answer now. But it won't be long, i promise

Katy: lets just head to the cafeteria, for the first feast of many

King: sounds good to me

*they head down the big hallway. They take a right and walked down to a large door. Entered to find only about 300 people showed up.*

King: where is everyone?

Katy: i’m not sure

King: everyone who came, thank you. I appreciate you coming an accepting my offer. But i would much prefer if everyone was here, their is and announcement i would like to make that everyone needs to hear

Servant one: well, most of them couldn't make it because they had to finish work, they are all really busy.

King: is it vital to the kingdom, or is it all repetitive tasks?

Servant: umm…

King: be honest

Servant: repetitive tasks

King: tell me, do you have friends hear

Servant: yeah, we all do

King: than get them all together. I want you to spread the word. I want everyone to drop everything and come here. This is important. Food is vital

Servant: okay, yes sir!

*the king and Katy sit down. Slowly they all wondered in. they all sat down and started eating. After about, and hour, the king noticed they it was completely silent, not one sound was being made.*

King: thank you everyone. For coming. I know that not all of you wanted to be here, but it's for a good cause. I wanted all of you to take a little break from the back breaking work that you all do. I would also like to congratulate you all on being the first garvelask citizens of this kingdom. Their are some rules however. You will continue to do you're daily duties. An you will sleep here at the castle. Anyone who disobeys will receive consequences. However you will begin being paid 3 cents per hour and be fed 3 times a day. Do with this as you will.
