My name is Kaoru "Hime" Koto. I am currently Commander of the Combat Unit One of Headquarters. I feel as if the world is on her shoulders. The ranking has its benefits and some perks.

She feels as if she needs something interesting to happen in her life every once in a while.

Alice "Ally" Rosalite is her childhood best friend. She is currently the Commander of Combat Unit Two. They always hang out every once in a while. The two want to experience new things. To cure their boredom of their current circumstances.

It is around ten in the morning in the park. I am waiting for Ally. As she was coming, I was checking my phone. Poppy texted me about something. It maybe nothing.

Ally is running towards me.

Kaoru, I'm here! Ally yelled. I looked at her.

You are never on time. I replied. You're right. I went shopping in Venus District to go out tonight. Ally replied. What are you thinking? We should go out this weekend. I replied. Come on, Kaoru. Ally replied.

We looked at the city view on the pond surface.

You look so bored; you need some excitement? Ally asked. You could say that. I replied. I want to go out for us, not for a man. Ally replied. Believe me, I can agree with that. I replied. So let's go out tonight. Ally replied.

As I looked at Ally. I know she was right and we need to have a little fun tonight. I thought.

Then I remembered something.

I don't know, Ally. I feel something is supposed to happen tomorrow. I replied. Now that I think about it. It'll come to us, eventually. Ally replied. Yeah, you're right. I replied.

As I sighed.

Kaoru, you are such a worry-wort; we are twenty-one. Ally replied. I haven't gone out since "him". I replied. Yes, that disgusting mother of an ex. Ally replied. We should go out for fun. No man chasing, Ally. I replied. I am single too. Kaoru, not desperate. Ally replied. You are right. We both are single and loving it. I replied.

Where are we going out to? Ally asked. Maybe we can go to Avaritia or Luxuria? I asked. How about downtown Bacchus or Ishtar? Ally asked. Yes, I can drink to my heart's content. Ally replied. Where is Ally? I asked. We should go to Avaritia. Ally replied. Also, are you sure you don't have a problem? I replied. No, I drink when I am relaxed. I am not an alcoholic. Ally replied. We will meet up at my house? I asked. Yes, that will work. Ally replied. We hung out for a bit and thought about color schemes for tonight. Then we walked to our cars and went our separate ways.

As I was driving home, I was thinking about how I freed myself of "him". What will become of me? Will I catch feelings for a guy or stay single? As I entered traffic, I shock my head thinking about such a matter.

As the day went by, I was looking forward to tonight. I would be "me" again. I thought. When I arrived at my house. I walked inside and dropped my keys on the counter.

That night, I was coming down the stairs. Ally knocked on the door.

Ally parked her car. She brought a bag full of party dresses and makeup. I saw the joy on her face. She really is ready for tonight. I thought.

I open the door. Let's go upstairs and get ready! Ally yelled. Yeah! I yelled. As we were getting ready. All I could think about is how much fun we would have had together tonight. What will happen tonight?
