All the alarms on the dashboard blinked and whistled, while Erienin tried as best he could to land on land in less than two pieces.
“Damn!” she shouted as she abruptly lifted the joystick.
The ship had been shaking from all sides since it had entered the atmosphere and flames were blocking her field of vision.
“I shouldn't have slept during the end of the course... ” she ranted as she tried to keep the course.
She flicked all the buttons, one by one, hoping that it would change something, without it changing anything, she was still running straight for the ground without any hope of stopping before hitting it.
“Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!” she shouted, desperately looking for a way out of her inevitable crash.
The cabin of her saucer was shaking more and more, so it became difficult for her to stand.
“The handbrake! Damn it! The handbrake! I forgot the damn handbrake! she cried, confused. Why do I always forget the handbrake?!
Without waiting another second, Erienin reached out his hand and engaged the handbrake.

Gabrielle was quietly returning from her evening training, whistling to the rhythm of the music played by her earphones.
She was a young woman in her twenties, whose long black hair fell lasciviously on her back. Her alabaster-white skin was sublimated by moonlight.
She wore a sleeveless black dress which fell to her knees, with scarlet patterns and knots, leaving the top of her back and shoulders unclothed.
She walked along the side of the road thinking about what she could eat when she arrived at her flat.
Pasta? No... A pizza! she thought. Yes a pizza will be perfect! With a lot of meat!
I can't wait... she sighed.
At the same time, a huge fireball fell from the sky just in front of her, before coming to a halt, deploying landing gear and disappearing under a huge cloud of smoke.
“What?...” Gabrielle began.
A silhouette emerged from the smoke. As she approached, a dazzled Gabrielle was able to better distinguish her.
She was a tall, young woman, with blue eyes and blond hair, dressed in a tomboy style and with a princely allure.
She cleared her throat before declaring:
“Beautiful Unknown Princess, fate has brought us together! My name is Erienin and I... Hey, what are you doing? Why are you leaving?!!”
Damn! She saw me... said Gabrielle, who had just turned around to get away from what seemed like a lot of trouble.
“Please, Princess, don't go away! exclaimed Erienin, desperate.
— And why the hell should I listen to you? Gabrielle replied, despite herself.
— Because we are soul mates?
— Wrong, try again, Gabrielle replied mechanically.
— I... stammered Erienin.
— Very convincing...
— Is it true, Princess? said Erienin, full of hope.
— No, Gabrielle replied, bluntly.
— Damn... And if I tell you that it's a twist of fate? she tried again.
— Really? You only have one catchphrase? It's not very serious...
— I know... But I spent most of my classes on the subject sleeping and...” she stammered as she wiggled, anxious before recovering and getting back into her character.
She resumed, full of confidence on the surface, while inside she was trying as hard as she could to remember the lines she had learned, and declaimed:
“I travelled many light years before landing on this beautiful planet in search of my half... Searching for you, Princess...
— You call that landing?
— Landing simply means putting an aircraft on the ground, Princess. My ship is on the ground. So, I landed.
— Yeah, right...
— Anyway, I travelled several light years to meet you, young human and when I saw you...
— Young human? sighed Gabrielle.
— What's the matter? Don't tell me I've got the wrong planet? This is Earth, isn't it? Erienin panicked.
— No, you didn't make a mistake... But no one has ever said that there were only humans on Earth...
— It's true... added Erienin after thinking for a few seconds. Since I am here, there are also natives of the constellation of Octopus...
— I wasn't talking about you and, moreover, the constellation of Octopus doesn't exist.
— Of course there is, I came from there! It lies just between the constellation of Andromeda and the constellation of Phoenix in your sky.
— No, it doesn't.
— What? You're also questioning the existence of the constellations of Andromeda and Phoenix?
— No... Just the existence of the one of the Octopus.
— But come on, Princess, please listen to reason, I am living proof of its existence!
— Though, it was close to be wrong... Gabrielle replied.
— You're mean, Princess. My landing wasn't that bad...
— Just turn around, and you'll see the extent of the damage...
— You won't get me so easily, Princess, as soon as my back is turned, you will take advantage of it to escape, replied Erienin, descending from the top of the crater to get closer to her sweetheart. I know all your human stratagems...
— That was one too many human... ranted Gabrielle.
— Which means, Princess? asked Erienin, perplexed.
— You know, I was only planning on eating pizza tonight, but finally I changed my mind... Gabrielle said.
— So you accept that I take you to the restaurant tonight, Princess? asked Erienin, full of hope.
— Not really... she replied, cryptic.
— Oh... sighed the princely looking alien pouting.
— Yes, Gabrielle assured me as she vanished into the darkness of the night.
— No! Don't go yet! exclaimed Erienin. I still have more things to ask you!...
— Don't worry, I'm just here, she whispered into the alien's ear.
Gabrielle magically reappeared in a wrinkle of cloth, her black dress fluttering, behind Erienin and grabbed her by the waist and the head, while the princely looking alien could feel her warm breath on her neck.
“Oh... I... I think things are going a little fast between us... she stammered as she blushed.
— Not that I don't like it... she added with her cheeks on fire. But I think we shouldn't skip the steps if we want it to work between us...
— You're completely wrong... Tonight, you're the one on the menu, Gabrielle replied.
— Once again... Not that I mind... But I don't think we should go too fast... Erienin muttered, scarlet.
— Just be silent... ” sighed Gabrielle, tired of the misunderstanding, sticking her fangs into the girl's neck.
However, her warm blooded thirsty fangs only encountered green jelly.
“What ?! she exclaimed, confused.
— Sorry... Sorry, Princess! But I told you I didn't want to rush the steps, said the green jelly ball as it came out of the embrace of its beautiful before replaying its human form.
— What ?! Gabrielle stammered, lost.
— Let's say that my species is a species of unicellular beings with the ability to take the appearance of anything in this universe...
— I...
— Oh! And we're practically immortal.
— But I...
— Cheer up, Princess, it saddens me to see you like this !”
Without a word, Gabrielle spread her wings again and flew off to vanish into the starry sky thinking:
I'm going to have to be satisfied with a pizza tonight... Too bad... She looked delicious, though...
Immortal, huh...
Erienin looked up and watched her leave.
“Damn it, I didn't even ask her her name... she sighed. Anyway, I'm happy to have crashed here tonight... ”
She went to the bottom of the crater to see the damage.
“Well... How am I supposed to get out of here...”
