After a while I could feel someone watching me. I took a glimpse at Toshiro and saw him staring at me. I quickly look out the window, trying to ignore his strange behavior. The weird thing is I could feel where he is staring at me. The stare started from my eyes then slowly went down to my necklace that is hanging in front of my chest. I had this eerie feeling so I started to hold my necklace tight. The necklace is a deep purple pendant that had a dragon a red gem wrapped around it. His stare locked on my pendant as I try to move the pendant so he can stop staring at me.
“That’s a pretty necklace. You shouldn’t wear that around. Someone might try to steal it” He smirked. “Y-Yeah I guess so” I mumbled. Soon we arrived at a huge mansion.
From the outside it looked like a regular fancy house. The types of house you’d see celebrities in. Toshiro was now in his human form and staring at the house. “Let’s go” He spoke coldly before stepping out of the car. I was tempted to stay in the car, after all I didn’t know anything about him and he’s a demon. I look up and saw his dark eyes piercing through my body, like he was the hunter and I was his prey. Hurriedly, I got out of the car and walked over to him.
I stepped inside the house expecting it to be dark and filled with blood and coffins, but it wasn’t. It had pretty white marble floors with creamy white walls. A TV mounted on the wall and a long couch stretched out in front of it. “Wow this is amazing!” I smiled as I twirled around looking around the room. I walked around smiling as I continued to look at the house in awe. “Close your mouth or flies will get in there,” Toshiro called from beside me. I shut my mouth, feeling my face heat up in embarrassment. “So you live here?” I asked, avoiding eye contact. “Yes I do” Toshiro was giving me that cold gaze again that made me tense up. “Do you know why you’re here, Kaito?” Toshiro spoke. His voice was deep and attention grabbing. I slowly shook my head no. “I saved you from a dark angel and now you know I’m a demon, well when a demon saves a human, that human is promised to the demon that saved them for all eternity.” He grunted bluntly.
It felt like time stopped. I am promised to a demon? How? “W-What?” I managed to stuttered out. “Yes, you are now promised to me.” Toshiro smirked darkly. “I’m nobody’s. I don’t belong to you.” “That is where you’re wrong precious, you are mine now.” Toshiro started to walk closer to me. I could feel my heart racing out of my chest. I backed up until I had nowhere else to go. My body pressed up against the counter. I could feel Toshiro’s breathe on my face. His breath smelt of mint with a pinch of blood. His arms on either side of me on the counter. His legs were pressed into mine but he kept his torso back.
