Windstorm raced towards his clan's den and while he was doing so he nearly tripped other some twigs. He was surprised that there was twigs left on the ground, mainly because that the birds usually take the twigs to make nests. 
Most chicks had died but still, most of the birds with chicks would take advantage of this. He sighed and arrived at the clan's den. A fluffy cat pushed him. Windstorm fell to the ground,surprised by the strength. He looked up and saw petalbomb looking down at him.
"Oh my! I'm sorry sorry Windstorm. It was an accident, I swear! I tripped on a wet leaf." She picked up a small,wet leaf. Petalbomb looked like she was about to start crying at any moment. 
"Oh petalbomb... Its okay. I just have..." Windstorm touched his head and immediately winced in pain. ".. a sore head. Can you help me up?" Windstorm asked. Petalbomb nodded and quickly got him up. She bowed down her head and walked off. Windstorm sighed and ran towards Cherrystar, who was in her den, careful enough not to trip or bump into anyone.
When he arrived he slowly sat down beside her. Cherrystar looked at him. "Why are you here? Has something happened?" She asked a little worried. Windstorm shook his head. 
"Sorry Cherrystar to interrupt you but there is something I must tell you." 
Cherrystar looked at him with a annoyed glance. 
"I'm guessing that you couldn't find any poppies? Emberdrop was complaining to me that you were taking way to long. Why were you so long anyway?" Cherrystar stood up and pressed her head against his, making her face into a frightening face. 
"Tell me right now Windstorm." 
"U-uh. The reason why I was late and what I wanted to tell you was that I found a k-kittypet. I would like to escort to his den,which is far away. The kittypet lost its way here because it was being an idiot and playing around like a kit. The kittypet is about the same age and size as me. Do you give me permission to esco-"
A sudden hiss came from outside. Windstorm and Cherrystar raced outside, concerned what was happening. 
There in the middle of the clan's den was Raystorm and the kittypet, Milky.
