Albeit passing out, Abigail had some memories from last night carved into her brain. She was no better than Chloe, after all Abigail was very close to kissing Isabel last night if it weren't for Chloe interrupting them- how ironic. She desperately wanted to know the relation between Chloe and Isabel, they clearly had some sort of past together.
Abigail sat on Avery's lap, as people dispersed from cheer practice. Her eyes caught a hold of Nate hugging Isabel from the back as she wriggled under his grasp. Nate was laughing freely as if his girlfriend wasn't just kissing another person last night.
Isabel linked arms with Nate and the two went up the bleachers towards Abigail and Avery. Abigail didn't know what exactly possessed her but feeling Isabel's gaze on them, she smashed her lips onto Avery's. Moving them sensually, while placing her legs on either side of Avery's.
Avery was more than happy seeing such a gesture come from Abigail, grabbing her blonde locks, he pushed her head closer. Abigail was about to lose it, she couldn't handle the obscenity of his movements. Shutting her eyes closed, she endured as much as she could before pulling away, a trail of saliva exhibiting the end of their little session.
"That was quite a show you put up there." Isabel chuckled, clearly shocked by what Abigail had just done. Without giving a second glance, Abigail shot up and sat beside Avery. She couldn't bear to look at Isabel.
"Avery shall we get going?" Nate asked, patting the dirt off himself. Avery pecked Abigail on the lips, waving to Isabel and walking down.
Isabel sat down next to Abigail, noticing her sudden timidness towards her.
"You okay?" Isabel asked, placing her hand onto Abigail's exposed thigh. Abigail's eyes trailed her arm, locking their gaze together. She gave a smile, nodding slowly.
Silence engulfed them, it was uncomfortable, awkward and full of unreleased tension. Abigail couldn't control herself, the guilt was eating her up from the inside. She released a shaky breath, turning her full attention to Isabel.
"So what happened last night-"
"What happened last night?" Isabel interjected.
"You know exactly what happened last night."
"The kiss?!" Abigail nodded hysterically. "It was a joke. I thought you knew that, that's what friends do."
"Since when were you and Chloe friends? You have a boyfriend, I'm pretty sure it's considered as cheating."
Isabel stared at her with widened eyes.
"Wait, wait, wait-" Isabel jumped up and Abigail felt as though she had said something extremely wrong.
"Wait, what exactly are you talking about?" Isabel asked, her face etching in confusion and fear.
Abigail didn't what else there could be to get angry about. "Chloe and you kissing..." She said stressing out each word for Isabel to understand. "What did you think I was talking about?"
"When you and I- never mind that." She spoke, shaking her head. Her eyes widened yet again, processing what Abigail had just said.
"What?!" She screamed out. "When did you see us?"
"Isabel stop. What's important is why you did it. You have a boyfriend." She repeated the last phrase again, hoping it would get into Isabel's and even Abigail's own head. "I thought you guys didn't even like each other."
Isabel sat back down, her brows furrowed and Abigail wanted to hug away her sadness. "I'm sorry, it's my fault. Chloe wanted to talk to me so I followed her up, once we were alone she jumped onto me and-" Isabel bit her lip and Abigail got distracted for a second. "She just kissed me."
Abigail squinted her eyes, failing to understand mostly due to her jealousy.
"I didn't push her off because I was so shocked, time went and everything started getting really heated. I got pushed onto the bed and-" Abigail raised her hand, she didn't need to hear the rest.
"How do you two know each other?" Abigail's voice was laced with pure envy. The truth was she wanted Isabel all to herself, knowing that another girl got to make-out with her, caused her blood to boil.
"She was close to Karla, so when we hung out, Chloe joined us. Honestly speaking, she's a great person. But we had a little falling out." Isabel muttered and Abigail was sure that she didn't want her knowing about the 'falling out'.
"Have you told Nate?" Abigail raised a brow, folding her arms across her chest.
"No. And I don't really plan to-"
"Why?" Isabel pursed her lips, making it harder for Abigail to not fall into her trap.
"Because, it's not a big deal." She spoke out and Abigail could not help but release a sarcastic laugh. "Girls kiss all the time. If anything, Nate would be turned on knowing I kissed Chloe." She smirked, realizing the tables were turned and this time Abigail was speechless.
"I don't think it works like that." Abigail scoffed.
"Baby, it does. So you're telling me that if I kiss you, it'll be considered cheating for Nate?"
"No." Abigail was ready to slap herself any minute. She was supposed to say yes, why did she say no. Isabel's eyebrows rose frantically.
"Because we're best friends, you and Chloe aren't." She elaborated. "-And you were the one who said friends practiced on each other."
"Touche." Isabel whispered. "Well in that case, do you want to practice?" At times like these, Abigail knew it was best to keep a monotone expression.
"Right now?" She stuttered. Why was she agreeing to this?
"No, not in front of people. How about underneath the bleachers?" Abigail's heart instantly noticed the shift in atmosphere, beating twice as hard.
Isabel got up and walked down, the hem of her skirt flustering as she swayed her hips. Like a puppy, Abigail followed down. She knew Isabel was just joking, but that counted as flirting- right?
As they hit the bottom, Isabel took hold of Abigail's arm and led them to the back, away from a few prying eyes.
Arriving underneath the bleachers hit a sense of déjà vu for Abigail. Things always happened here, including Abigail's first kiss with Isabel.
Isabel turned around and smirked.
"Well let's practice then."
