The knife was almost sweating, from the tight grip it's owner had on it as she crept up the stairs slowly and anxiously. She could've sworn she loved her sister and parents, but that one night changed everything. They ruined it.They ruined every chance of her being able to proceed with her normal life, they isolated her to the darkness of her room, they disrupted and prevented one of the most precious moments in her life. They took it all away. And now, it was time for sweet revenge.
They deserved to be punished.
With one last deep, and concluding breathe, she continued up the wooden steps, with each step she took, her heart beat faster and faster. Was she doing the right thing?Yes, she answered. It may not be the most accurate way, but it was the only way.It had to be done.Once it was done, everything would be OK.All the happiness in the household would revolve and belong to her, and her only. She would be able to hold all the secrets that was stored in the basement, and she would inherit all their riches and title. It was a one-sided situation, but she couldn't care less about that.
Soon, they would be gone.Out of her life.Forever..she liked the sound of that.If one were to look closely, they could make out a sinister grin on the girl's face at that very moment.
The door to the bedroom opened quietly, much to her delight. It obeyed and cooperated with her sinister plan by not creaking on it's hinges like it would usually. All was going too well. She slowly lifted her feet, on and off of the soft wrinkly carpet. She was so close to success she could basically smell it.She reached her sleeping mother and father's bedside, and the sinister grin returned.Even wider and more genuine this time.
The knife rose up high, still tightly grasped in her wrist. It almost quavered with excitement, as it was about to commit yet another crime.A wonderful meaningful crime that would dress itself in red once more. And then it happened. The knife plunged into the once peaceful couple's chest an dug around into their hearts. They squirmed and choked for a bit, before becoming still.
Deathly still.
She had done it.They were gone. Finally gone, and out of her life.Forever.Feeling proud and anticipated with her first kill she tossed the knife into the drawer beside their beds. She would find a way, somehow, to frame someone else about her horrible doings. She would find a way.She has too.She cannot risk being arrested and being isolated from society once more.
Ignoring the fact that her birth-giver and sperm donor lay dead, with crimson red blood coating their body and the white sheets underneath them, she finished off what she believed to be a wonderful piece of art.She dug into her dress pockets and pulled out the garnish. She leaned over the limp bodies of her parents, and placed a black rose into each of their mouths.
And she ran.To nowhere specific, to no one in general. She just ran..further and further away until her silhouette could no longer be spotted.
