Isabel's body vibrated from the fit of laughter she had burst into. "Oh my God, I was joking. Calm down." She assured, rubbing her back soothingly. Abigail knew that the little time of fun she had with Isabel had come to an end, she pushed herself forward, creating small friction between them, wanting to savoir the moment.
Abigail stared at Isabel, the two awkwardly looking at each other. Isabel shot a smile, Abigail's knees feeling week as she gripped Isabel's waist for support. Up-close, Abigail reiterated exactly how beautiful Isabel was. Abigail noticed her eyes had turned a lighter hue, seeming yellow with specks of orange and green. Abigail always knew Isabel's mood from her eyes; they revealed so much about her. Isabel's smile widened, her pearly whites in full display as acknowledged that Abigail was checking her features out.
Isabel brought her hand forward, caressing Abigail's cheek with the back of her hand. She pinched the area roughly, Abigail yelping.
"Ouch." Abigail frowned, knowing the area had reddened. Isabel stuck her tongue out, licking the affected skin slowly and placing her lips firmly on it. She didn't remove them but kept them there for a little while before pulling back.
"I have to get going now." Isabel spoke softly, flashing a friendly smile. She hugged Abigail one last time before walking past and making her way out.
Abigail released a shaky breath she had no idea was keeping in. Her mind went over what had just happened, had she really made out with Isabel? Yes. Yes she had. Abigail could feel the radiating heat still hovering on her body, she was extremely aroused and hurt; for Abigail this meant something so powerful yet Isabel thought of it as nothing more than what friends did.
Abigail's fingers grazed the region Isabel's tongue had been on. Her feelings for Isabel had just gotten much stronger.
What made it worse was the fact that Abigail did not feel an ounce of guilt towards Avery nor Nate, she instead felt proud for an odd reason.
Abigail needed a cold shower and she needed it now. Her body needed to get in control before she did something she would regret later on seeing that the intoxicating scent of Isabel was lingering on her.
✷✷
Abigail scrolled through her phone, her blonde, damp locks sprawled across the pillow. Checking her social media, her eyes fixated upon a newly uploaded post from none other than Isabel. She wasn't alone, Nate standing beside her and the two smiling. The guilt should have kicked in by now but Abigail was boiling with jealousy, though she had no right to even be jealous.
For Isabel, Abigail was her toy; her little marionette that she worked with her fingers, directing her to fulfill her wishes. Abigail thought having her parents away for two weeks would be wonderful yet the void of lonesome surrounded her house especially seeing that now Isabel spent most her time with her boyfriend.
For some reason, Abigail couldn't help but think about what Isabel had said about Chloe. There was something much deeper than the surface Isabel had revealed, Abigail didn't intend on snooping around but was very curious.
Abigail realized that Chloe had put her number into her phone, trying her luck she texted her a quick message.
Hey.
In an instant Abigail's phone started buzzing from a call.
"About time you text me, I was starting to think you really felt guilty from drinking all my tap water." Chloe chuckled, a strange shiver working it's way down Abigail's spine. Abigail had to regain posture and sound as if she hadn't caught Chloe kissing her crush.
"Glad you brought it up, just wanted to apologize about that." Abigail tried making her voice sound innocent and sweet but it spewed out envy.
"You're forgiven. Hey, you okay?" Chloe asked more concerned noticing the venom in her tone.
Abigail mumbled a 'yes' and decided to invite Chloe over. She was home alone, no school tomorrow; surely she needed some company. In her mind she thought of getting to know her better, maybe creating a friendly bond between them. But in reality, she wanted to get things about Isabel out of Chloe.
Abigail got downstairs and waited rather impatiently for Chloe's arrival. She felt like a bitch for inviting her over only to release details from her- after all Chloe was such a sweet girl, well to Abigail at least.
Did Isabel even like girls? The thought had not crossed her mind. She wasn't homophobic, she had many gay friends- heck even relatives. Abigail had never actually told Isabel she was into girls, the only people that knew were Delilah and Tyler.
But...If Isabel was bisexual, clearly she would go for Chloe. It was no lie that Chloe was extremely attractive, she was the stereotypical blonde hottie.
A short, brisk knock disturbed Abigail's thoughts. She ran to the door and opened it immediately. Chloe stood, smiling softly at her.
"Come in." Abigail stepped aside as Chloe wandered into the house. Abigail skimmed her body, the slight jealousy within her rising.
"Would you like anything to drink? My household offers a wide range of tap water's." Abigail winked, grabbing two glasses from the cupboard, grinning once hearing Chloe laugh.
"No alcohol?" She asked, moving closer to Abigail. Abigail reached for a wine bottle, pouring it into a glass. "Thanks." Abigail poured water into her own glass and Chloe giggled.
"You sure love water." She chugged the alcohol down, concerning Abigail.
Abigail and Chloe sat in silence, the low sounds of the television filling the empty room. Abigail glanced at her and noticed she was completely transfixed onto her phone.
"So, I was meaning to ask. How did you and Isabel know each other?" Abigail raised an eyebrow, scooting closer on the couch.
Chloe put her phone down and opened her mouth in thought. She remained silent, not knowing how to answer.
"Well, we dated for some time." Abigail's hand gripped the couch in shock, her knuckles turning white.
