Abigail could only think how sinfully tempting Isabel looked in that moment in time; her brown waves framed her face perfectly, making her now-dark hazel orbs glow in exasperation. Abigail was lost in her eyes, they froze Abigail to the core, immobilizing any movement from her. Chloe scoffed quietly, snapping Abigail away from the vixen's spell.
"What are you doing here?" Isabel's eye tweaked, she had the nerve to ask what she was doing here? A small smirk played on Chloe's lips, she was surely getting under her skin.
"This is my best friend's house. I think it's safe to say I can come here whenever I please." Isabel's voice was so raspy and calm that it scared Abigail for a minute yet also heated her insides. Déjà vu coated Abigail's mind as she felt invisible once again being in the middle of the two. "What are you doing here?" Isabel irked, her face twisting in disgust.
"Well your best friend invited me over-" Chloe emphasized the word your and Isabel's face fell. "to spend the night." Chloe finished, her smirk in full view. Isabel's eyes hovered over Abigail, a smile now etched into her features.
"Well this will be fun, won't it?" Isabel walked past Abigail, barging Chloe to get inside the house. Abigail stood slightly astonished, wasn't she supposed to be with Nate? Abigail walked inside the living room, Chloe following behind.
Isabel gulped down the alcohol in a rush, concerning both Abigail and Chloe. "When did you start drinking?" Isabel asked curiously.
"It was poured for Chloe." Abigail replied, balancing from one leg to another anxiously. Chloe sat down next to Isabel, her eyes focused on the television and not on the foe next to her. Abigail noticed that Chloe was still pretty much topless.
"Shall I get you a shirt, Chloe?"
"It's fine, I'm feeling a little hot." Chloe winked shamelessly at Abigail, her fingers grazing the bare skin. Isabel glanced at Chloe momentarily then switched her attention back onto the opened wine bottle, she brought it to her lips and took small sips.
Abigail stared at her uncertainly, placing herself furthest away from the two.
"So what were you guys up to?" Isabel asked, smiling at Abigail.
"Chloe was just helping me study for my biology exam." Abigail replied a little too ecstatically, her features lightening up.
"Awn, cutie." Chloe remarked, biting her lip playfully. Isabel switched her gaze between the two in suspicion. Abigail despised the tense atmosphere created after each sentence. Why couldn't the two just get along? Speaking of getting along...Abigail was supposed to ask Chloe why she kissed Isabel, but now that Isabel was sitting in her house seeming slightly off, she couldn't ask.
"Abigail can you get us some more alcohol." Isabel spoke out of the blue. Her words held some mischief in them that Abigail couldn't put her finger on. Since they were guests, she couldn't really say no. Abigail got up and dragged her feet to the kitchen.
"Great, just great." Abigail mumbled to herself, opening each cabinet to search for any bottles. She crouched down, looking further and patting her hand on any bottles she could find. Her fingers grabbed the neck of the bottle and pulled it out. Whiskey. Her face scrunched in repulsion but knowing Isabel and Chloe, they would surely enjoy it.
She retracted up, her head banging against the top of the cupboard. "Ouch!" She winced, straightening up and ambling back to the living room. Isabel and Chloe uncomfortably close for Abigail's liking, laughing at an inside joke that Abigail was not part of.
As Abigail neared, the two stopped their fun- a grin on either of their faces. Abigail didn't like the way they looked at each other. She felt left out standing on the side with a bottle of whiskey in her hands. Minutes ago they were inches from strangling each other and now...well now it seemed more affectionate than usual. Abigail was feeling jealous. Very jealous.
"Um the alcohol." Abigail muttered, placing it in Isabel's hands as she carried on talking to Chloe. Abigail sat at the side, watching them in envy as they laughed and got more closer.
Isabel opened the bottle and sipped, her head rolling back as it burned down her throat. Chloe took the bottle from her hands, downing some of it and giving the same reaction as Isabel. Abigail was surely confused about their on and off moments; she was certain that whatever happened at the party the other night was a different story from Isabel's.
"Abigail don't you want to drink?" Chloe asked, finally noticing her existence. Before Abigail could even speak, Isabel interjected.
"She won't be able to handle it." Isabel bit her lip, her eyes daring Abigail to prove her otherwise. Abigail grabbed the bottle and drank more than necessary; she instantly regretted it but didn't remove the rim from her lips. A little embarrassed by the way Isabel and Chloe watched her.
She slammed the bottle down, coughing hysterically, some liquid escaping from the side of her mouth. It tasted foul and Abigail was ready to puke at any second; she felt herself becoming a little light-headed but knew she wasn't yet tipsy.
Chloe and Isabel laughed, Abigail cupping her mouth in agitation as she carried on coughing.
"Do you even know how to drink?" Chloe joked, pointing at the trail of brown down her jaw. Abigail pouted, she felt defenseless and weak whenever they were together.
"Stop." Abigail whined, wiping her cheek roughly with the back of her hand.
"Stop being mean." Isabel laughed, turning her attention onto Abigail and straddling her lap. Abigail's stomach dropped as Isabel started rubbing her shoulders sensually, peering into her eyes.
"Leave my baby alone." Isabel smirked, placing her lips onto Abigail's cheek, her tongue skimming along the dried alcohol stain and wiping it clean.
Chloe got up and stood behind Isabel, causing her to turn around. Isabel moved closer and closer, bringing her lips towards Chloe's all the while Abigail watched in disbelief.
