Abigail had no clue as to why Isabel was here in the first place but her tranquility slowly dispersed as she watched their lips brushing against each other's. She couldn't take it any longer. "Stop!" She boasted from the top of her lungs, startling both herself and the two other girls. Abigail grabbed Isabel's shoulders and seated her onto the couch; she got up fuming from jealousy.
"Okay, calm down." Chloe ushered, facing Isabel; both girls confused at Abigail's sudden outburst.
"Why were you about to kiss Chloe?" Abigail asked, completely ignoring Chloe's remark. "for the second time, might I add." Chloe's face fell stern as she picked up her jacket and threw it on. Isabel sat with her arms crossed, not a care in the world.
"I can do whatever I want." Isabel snapped violently and for a second Abigail could make out her true demeanor under all that anger that was built up but as soon as their gazes locked, Isabel's appearance became stone cold.
"Let me remind you, you're going out with Nate." Abigail emphasized loud and clear. Isabel herself didn't know where all this force from Abigail was coming from. The truth was, both Abigail and Isabel were very hot and cold towards each other. Chloe zipped up her jacket and complied on leaving.
"Please stay, we were meant to have a sleepover anyway." Abigail smiled apologetically fully acknowledging the daggers that were thrown her way by none other than Isabel.
"Definitely another time. Now, I think you should sort out whatever needs sorting." She motioned towards the heated mess that was created. Chloe strolled towards Isabel, pecking her quickly, Isabel throwing a wink at her way. Chloe hugged Abigail- and Abigail would lie if she hadn't felt a little rejected. All she got was a hug?
"Bye." Chloe waved awkwardly, walking out of the vehement entanglement. Abigail focused her attention back onto Isabel, the facade that Abigail was putting up was nothing compared to the irritation she felt beneath, Abigail was beyond vexed at Isabel.
"Seriously Isabel, I really don't understand you. You have Nate. Stop kissing other people."
"Do I have Nate? Really? Because he fucking dumped me." Isabel breathed out, her lower lip trembling. Abigail felt the pity wash over." The party at Chloe's, we had an argument so I ran up to get some time alone. Chloe was there and-" Abigail could hear Isabel's voice being unable to form coherent sentences. "I guess I needed comfort." The vein in Abigail eye twitched, comfort from kissing?
"You got comfort from kissing your ex?" Abigail blurted out with force. Isabel's eyes widened a fraction, the tears that were pooling now spilling. Abigail felt more of a bitch, why was she so angry?
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you." Isabel sniffled and for once in the whole week Abigail could tell she truly meant what she said. Abigail sighed deeply with frustration, walking to the couch she sat down next to Isabel and patted her back in comfort. "I didn't even know I was into girls, at the beginning I dated her for the sex." Abigail cringed, her heart ripping in two, she didn't want to comment on that. So Isabel had had sex with girls as well as guys?
Abigail's eyes wandered wearily to Isabel's frame, she scanned her body as her gaze rested on Isabel's plump, bruised lips that were waiting to be kissed. Isabel parted her lips and Abigail mirrored the action, skimming her tongue along her lower lip, her throat suddenly feeling dry. How could someone make Abigail feel so many emotions at once?
Pushing her lustful thoughts aside, Abigail ran her fingers through her silky, blonde mane and pulled on her tender demeanor.
"Why did he break up with you?" Abigail asked, her voice softening a couple of octaves for the defenseless girl beside her. She abhorred witnessing Isabel upset, it broke her heart and made her forget about any feuds she held with Isabel.
"He lost feelings for me I guess." Isabel smiled through the pain. "I honestly don't blame him, I'm just upset that he's going out with another girl right after." Abigail frowned deeply, the anger returning back into her bones.
"Are you serious? How can anyone lose feelings for you and then have the audacity to go for another girl? Seriously?" Abigail gawked surprised, she didn't understand how someone as attractive as Isabel could be dumped. Abigail realized what she had said after, her hand instantly went to her mouth to prevent any unwanted words spewing.
"Awn, Abigail." Isabel chuckled, pulling Abigail in for a hug. Abigail's breathing had quickened as Isabel laid her head upon Abigail's chest, she gulped heavily the heavenly scent of Isabel controlling her mind.
"I'm sorry I disturbed your night with Chloe. I didn't know she was going to be here." Abigail shook her head nonchalantly.
"Clearly you wanted her more than me here." Isabel whispered regretfully, the tears now gone from her face replaced with a tempting smirk.
"Stop overreacting Isabel, I always want you with me." It hurt Abigail how much the last sentence meant, how much raw emotion it held and unexpressed affection. "You're so beautiful. Perfect, literally. It's Nate's loss not yours and remember don't ever beg for his attention. No boy is ever worth that much." Complimenting Isabel was never a problem, she could go on and on. Isabel couldn't help but pout at her captivating words, she pinched her cheek like she usually did, leaving a slightly crimson mark.
"Abigail you always know how to cheer me up." Isabel's arms snaked around Abigail's neck, pulling their faces closer and prying into her eyes. "I'm sorry for being a bitch." Abigail smiled deviously.
"Yeah you were a pretty big one." Isabel rolled her eyes at the snarky comment. "Also, don't ever kiss Chloe again." Abigail added stubbornly.
"And why not?" Isabel arched her brow, grinning seductively as Abigail's face flushed scarlet.
"Because the only girl you should be kissing is me."
