Narrator: Good morning readers. Today is a little different. The king decided to help the dragon. An he has found the help of a lonely Garvelask that “just so happen to be there and have exactly what he needs”. Yeah, the author is kind of lazy. But today’s episode is not the same. Because the camera equipment quit working in the trip, all we have is the king's diary. (don’t tell him i read it) without further ado. Let get into the story.

Day 1. The trip so far has been quite nice. It's different out here than i would expect. I thought the city was poor. and broke down. But from what i can see, everything is great! I don't see one hungry child. Not one sad looking face. Not one empty cart. Everything looks great. So i wonder what Katy meant by i was running things into the dirt. As far as i can tell. Past me did a dam good job

Day 2. We left the city. It took a whole day to reach the edge. We came to a big wall. Probably about 50 kilometers up. An about 23 kilometers thick. Made to withstand attacks from nukes. Why in the hell did i build it for. The wolf and feline kingdoms are still using wood spears. Or at least that's what at it looks like. I guess there's only one way to find out

Day 3. We finally reached the feline kingdom. The city looks very poor. It's people are hurt. When we entered the city people feared me. People coward in my presents. I felt really bad being this scary to these sweet folk. The Garvelask Henry that is traveling with me explained what was going on. They hesitantly took us to the king. We exchanged a few words. An he agreed to help me on one condition. An I'm not sure if i can comply. He wants me to release EVERYONE. Including the wolves. It's apparent these two kingdoms are working together. Probably to attempt to amount to my power. I told him that if he allows me to sleep here for the night, i would think over a good compromise. He agreed. But i can’t come up with a compromise. The only other thing i could do is open my city walls to them. But i’m not sure if they would go for it. I only have one other solution. I noticed that my kingdom has a gate separating halves of the city. If i can make one half agree to be Garvelask friendly. Than we might be able to work something out. Also another thing. The past three days. I have been watching Henry closely. He is a really sweet boy. The most innocent thing i have ever seen. He loves seeing things. An he loves exploring. He loves to play. He is almost like a pet. But more human. I feel like we could make peace with these wonderful creatures. But with how badly i treated these creatures there's no telling.

Day 4. This morning i spoke with the king. He said that he would be willing to comply With my plan. and Katy should be back today. I left a note on the desk before i left. I hope she gets it. The king also invited me to breakfast. I have prepared a toast. I plan on running this country my way. An the first things first is to make peace with the two other kingdoms that i share this island with. Wish me luck

Day 4 ½: well, the breakfast went good. The people here make really good food. It reminds me of food i used to eat when i was in the tube. Home made food. The toast went okay. The Garvelasks are curious as to why i am all of the sudden willing to make peace. I’m not sure what to tell them. and the king. He told me something. I’m not sure what's going on here. But he said that “it's good to have the old king back” i’m not sure what's happening. I don't want to ask to many questions but i have lots of questions.

Day 6: i couldn't record yesterday. But the gist of it is that me and the king spoke. I told him that i’m needing a dragon. He said that he would be willing to take me to his. The last one that he protected. At first he didn't want to. But had to tell him why. I told him that i need him because i have a female dragon. He stopped me there and said that he understood. This dragon is apparently up at a really high mountain. Near the northern part of the island. In my city. So i suppose that we are headed back. We are leaving today. An as i promised the Garvelask stays. Turns out he was the king’s son. What a lovely father son relationship they have. Apparently Katy is also the king’s daughter. I asked some questions. He said that she went crazy, said that she was going to force me to open the gates. An rule the kingdom. So i suppose i should keep my eye on her.

Day 7: well, Katy found my note. She had some of the guards come get me. I gladly went. Walking for 3 days is tiring. We should be their in a few hours.

Narrator: well. This is where it ends. I wish he would have recorded more about the landscape. I know it's beautiful. But the rest of today is what happens after he got back

Katy: i thought i told you to stay at the kingdom

King: you did. But you never said for how long

Katy: *sighs* well. I’m glad you're safe. You could have been assassinated.

King: no, i don't think i could have been

Katy: what do you mean. There are dozens of people who want you dead

King: on the contrary. Everyone in the town was happy to see me. I even gave out a few flyers about job positions

Katy: what all did you see?

King: oh lots of things. Like how my city is thriving, and how everyone is so happy

Katy: …..

King: in fact, it wasn't until after i got to the Garvelasks kingdom that i found poverty, suffering, an madness like you told me was in my kingdom

Katy: wait, i can-

King: no need. I know what i must do. An i know just how to do it

Katy: wait, don't-

King: make sure i have a good spot in front if everyone. An a mike loud enough for everyone to hear.

Katy: what do you plan to do.

King: you’ll see

Katy: i suppose i will

*the next few days were weird. Katy stayed quite and practiced for the race a lot. She hardly ate or showed up. She looked upset all of the time. Until the day arrived for the race. She out on a smile. An didn't show anything. The king set up. He hoped and prayed that everything went well, as the hour drew closer, both the king and Katy, grew more anxious about the event*

King: ladies and gentlemen. Today’s event is a little different. I would like to start the event with a few announcements.

*the crowd groans*

King: yeah i know. First off, i would like to ask for a vote, from all of you. It's a matter of the garvalask kingdoms. If you would like them to be apart of our society, check yes. If not. *the crowd cheers. An the event starts. Everyone laughed. Everyone cheered on there favorite racers. Everyone had fun, Katy felt relieved and won second in the race. The rest of the day went as planned. Everyone had fun at the festival. An the king even received a few job interviews. The party lasted until the night.*

Katy: wait up

King: oh, hey Katy

Katy: hey, i wanted to say, i’m sorry about lying to you like that

King: well, as much as i want to just forgive you, i can’t.

Katy: so you're still gonna punish me?

King: i have to. I have no other choice.

Katy: i guess

King: why would you do that?

Katy: to be honest i never meant to

King: huh?

Katy: you wouldn’t believe me if i told you.

*the king leans down, gets real close to Katy's face, an he looks her in the eyes. The just stares. He sees the innocence in her eyes. He can sense fear. Katy's eyes start to tear up, she begins to sob. One single tear runs down her face. The king takes his thumb and wipes it off. Katy locks eyes with the king*

King: well, no matter what you tell me. I can forgive you. But i still have to do something. I’m a king. If i start letting people slip….well you know.

Katy: well, i guess you're right.

King: now, tell me. Why did you do it

Katy: i still picture you as the king you were before. An evil ruthless man. I still thought that you were playing around. Acting like you didn't know. Acting nice. I thought you were pretending so that you could get closer to me, so that you could take advantage of me

King: well. I suppose we didn't spend enough time together

Katy: no, i guess we didn't. And so when i told you all that. I was referring to my home. I was so angry, i am supposed to be the queen of my home. But i left. They all said i went crazy. I wanted to change how you rule. I wanted to make my home better. An that started with you

King: i understand. I used to know of a couple that had there home stripped apart. Nick and cyan.

Katy: how did you know them?

King: well, in the other world. I was nothing but a lonely farmer. I had a wife. But she died at a younger age. An than one day they came out of the woods that surrounded my house. They said that they were Garvelasks. They had been protected by a company build to help them. But some rival company came along and destroyed their home. They had never seen the outside. So i took them in in exchange that they work on my farm. They live happily. Until they left one day. They thanked me for everything.

Katy: oh, that's really sad

King: not the way i look at it.

Katy: what do you mean?

King: well. They needed help, i helped them out until they could leave. The way i see it. I did my part in the universe. There is nothing more beautiful than that

Katy: what does all this have to do with me?

King: you did you're part. You did what you had to do until you got help. An hear it is

Katy: you want to help me?

King: i do, but first. You got to help me, get a dragon
