After his battle with Maze, Khrona goes off somewhere in the Reality to be alone. He has released all of his inner frustrations in the form of the Zero Sanity, and left Maze with only that to deal with. Now, as Khrona lands in the Cool Breeze in the Portals of the Reality, he comes across a very unusually lucky surprise…

A wild ditto comes up to Khrona and transforms into him, staring him in the face.

Khrona is amazed at how a being that has his same power is also able to transform into him. He is not afraid of this Ditto as he normally is everything else, but fascinated by its ability and wishes to learn about it some more.

“Hm… let’s see…”

To test his theory about this transformable creature, Khrona merges his body with the grass under him and takes on its shape, now being the very grass itself.

The Ditto is completely shocked at the power of Khrona, for he is another being that looks nothing like this Ditto that is able to transform just like it could. After observing what Khrona had done, Ditto simply copied and took on the same form, transforming into the same grass as well.

His thoughts on this creature seemed to be correct, as it would simply change into whatever it saw Khrona change into. Exploring this theory even further, Khrona unmerges from the grass and locates a nearby tree, which he starts to merge his body with as well, only to pop his head out of the side to stare at the Ditto as if saying ‘Your turn.’

And of course, the Ditto did comply, copying Khrona’s actions by first transforming back into its pink, gelatinous form, and then assuming the form of the exact same tree that Khrona merged with, poking his head out of the other side to look at Khrona in the same way Khrona looked at it. ‘Your turn.’

Once again amazed at the power this creature held within, Khrona understood just what he had to do with this Ditto.

“Sooo… you transform? That’s fun…”

Knowing he wanted to catch this Pokemon, Khrona shakes his head like the branch of a tree, and out drops a pokeball from his hair. Yes, his hair. And he watches it roll away from him in the grass.

“Aw… I need that for catching pokemon…”

Unmerging himself from the tree, Khrona bends over and picks up the pokeball, now looking over to the Ditto to see if it would transform again.

The Ditto, as Khrona suspected, simply changes back to it’s normal form as a pink, gelatinous blob. Feeling comfortable with Khrona’s surprisingly gentle and kid-like presence, the normally timid Ditto slushed its way right up to Khrona’s feet with a smile on its face and introduces itself to him, first by saying its very name.

Ditto: “Dit…Ditto!”

Khrona picks up the pokeball, taking note of the Ditto’s courteous behavior and questioned whether or not he should fling this Pokeball.

“I… I think this is how I’m supposed to do it…”

Khrona flings the pokeball. Not at the Ditto, but away from the Ditto, and simply grabs the Ditto, which welcomes him to do so. Khrona had captured his very first pokemon… a Ditto. And so, he and this Ditto walked off back toward the main part of the Reality Village.
