"Emi."
My name echoed in my head. He remembers! He really does! My eyes began to water.
"Emi are you okay," Zane questioned.
I quickly wiped my eyes hoping he wouldn't notice, "You remember me," I could feel tears making their way down my cheek, "You really remember!" At that point I stopped trying to hold my tears back.
"Emi look at me," Zane commanded.
I lifted my head up.
"Emi put out your hand," Zane told me. I did exactly that and was pulled into a hug. I was in complete shock while trying to figure out the situation.
He's hugging me! Do I pull away or do I wrap my arms around him? Why me?! Zane pulled away but only a little bit. He placed both of his hands on my shoulders. Then he caressed his left hand onto my cheek.
"Still as beautiful as ever," He said while wiping a tear.
"Eh...me," I said as I could feel my face grow red.
He giggled, "Who else would I be taking to?"
"True," I responded.
He pulled me back into a hug. I wrapped my arms around him.
It feels so nice to be in a hug. It's been to long. I thought to myself. We must have been like that for a while because I felt the carriage pull to a stop.
"I believe we reached your destination," Zane said as he slowly pulled out of the hug. I looked out of the window seeing that we were in front of the cafe.
"How did you know," I questioned looking at him suspiciously.
"Lucky guess," Zane said. I opened the carriage door. We exchanged glances.
"See you in two days," Zane said.
"In two days," I responded.
