After graduation, I was with Rosie, when I got the call to work with Annie Woelke, and Rosie was the reason I had even met her. I was so happy to have people in my life. I had Alec, Jace, Alice, Shadow, and Rosie. I could never have imagined having more than one person ever present in my life but now I had more than I could have ever wished.
Annie Woelke is famous for her Woelke White roses. She has a knack for colors and she had seen some of my works and asked me to paint using her roses as an inspiration because she had connections to the art world. She has connections to the Alyssa Hamilton.
Alyssa Hamilton is a very big name in the art world, she is an exquisite artist and she is very famous. I was confused at first with never have been approached by an artist, to be approached by a florist who gives me a chance to connect with an artist. I painted the greenhouse in which Ms. Woelke showed me the living roses, and I painted the roses as though they were the greenhouse, I used one rose to find and use within the pigment.
Ms. Woelke gave me a month after she showed me her beautiful roses to finish the piece. I had never stressed so terribly over a deadline before, but when all was said and done I finished two days before the deadline.
Annie told me to call her Annie or just Woelke instead of Ms. Woelke because it made her feel odd to be addressed by Ms., the day I was supposed to give Annie my work she told me to come to her farm and we'd meet at the greenhouse, she didn't tell me that she'd be bringing Alyssa herself to view my piece. When I saw Annie and Alyssa up close I was standing with my canvas tucked under my arm but due to its size and my shock, I ended up holding it like a shield. The ladies laughed at me for a second because of my face but then they got serious as I revealed the piece. Annie asked me to wait inside the greenhouse and that she would summon me when they were done talking. My life was changing before I'd even realized or hoped it could or would.
