"I was just curious to see if you still worked" he looked to his feet "I couldn't find certain pieces of your brain so i added some of my own, you're going to have to learn some things over again"
"Okay" Ari stood for a moment "what is my job?" It was a short and simple question, but as Dr. Tremblay heard it, he paused for a moment before he could answer.
"I don't think I have a job for you, just try and learn new things i guess" his face then sparked with something, recollection? Ari made note of what the expression meant in her mind. "I have a room for you to stay in, it's a little cramped but it should be enough, follow me" he then led her down the hall from the garage to a small room at the side of the hall. Inside the room was a bed, a small table, and a window with a single flower on the windowsill. The walls were off-white and the carpet was beige.
"Thank you" Ari said, she was overwhelmed with an emotion she couldn't quite put a name to as she walked into the room.
"The kitchen and living room are just at the end of the hall and my room is across from yours. My name is Brian by the way, i think i forgot to mention that"
"Thank you, Brian" Ari sat on the bed as Brian left toward the kitchen. Ari looked out the window, they seemed to be on the third floor of an apartment building. All she could see was a street with several street lights, fog, and other apartment buildings that looked like they had been up for many years but not breaking down. She then stood herself up and walked toward where she saw Brian go. The living room and kitchen were basically the same room, a couch and chair circling the TV and the kitchen seemed to have the bare minimum amount of counters possible. Brian was busy cooking something and didn't notice her step into the kitchen.
"What's that?"
