“Oh, and can I call you on Friday?” Zayn asked

“Yeah! You should” Evan said loudly

“Okay then bye,” Zayn said right before cutting the line.

Evan turned off his light and jumped back into bed. He felt all warm and fuzzy from talking to Zayn.

“I wonder why he wants to call me on Friday,” Evan thought to himself “ it's Tuesday right now so if he wanted to talk more he could have called me tomorrow but isn't Friday too far?”

The day finally came it was Friday and all Evan could think about was getting back home and talking to Zayn. He got up as usual took his shower and had breakfast with his family. He ran out of the house and caught the bus to school. But when he walked into the school gates everything looked red.

“Oh it's valentine's day,” Evan said to himself after looking around.”

Evan got into class and settled down at his desk. He looked underneath his desk and found two letters each having chocolate attached to them. He closed his desk and looked around suspiciously.

“I got two this year I wonder who they are from.”

Evan looked out his window and zoned out for a bit. He started to think of how he and Zayn had spent valentines day. They would usually eat all the free chocolate they could find around the school and after they would read out loud confessions that had been thrown away in the hallway. They were young and silly at the time.

“Happy valentines day, get any confessions?” Alvin said as he walked towards Evans desk

“ I got two. I wonder who they are from” Evan replied

“Are we still on for gaming today?” Alvin asked intently

“Oh, I forgot. Uhm well I have a call am expecting” Evan said reluctantly

“Oh are you in a long-distance relationship and didn't tell me,” Alvin said jokingly

"Of course not," Evan said defensively

“No worries once they call I'll leave I just really wanted us to hang out today and you promised,” Alvin said persuasively

“Okay, we can do that” Evan replied.

As the day went on Evan wondered what Zayn was doing since it was valentine's day. If he got the chance he promised himself he was going to ask him because deep down he wanted to know if Zayn has been dating or is dating someone. If Zayn was dating then it would obviously be a guy. Evan played around in his thoughts thinking deeply about what kind of guy Zayn would be interested in. Tall, short, buff or skinny he really wanted to know.

Evan got home a little bit earlier from school. He cleaned his room and took a shower and after a while, Alvin showed up. They started to game and after three hours of gaming he finally heard his phone beep

“Hello Zayn,” Evan said excitedly

“Hey how are you” Zayn replied

After a while, Alvin stood up and started to pack his things. Zayn noticed Alvin's shadow moving back and forth in the background and he paused silently for a bit and then asked

"whose that?"

“Oh that's Alvin” Evan replied “hey Alvin come say hi” Evan screamed

“Hi,” Alvin said looking into the camera

Zayn looked at the guy on the other side of the screen. He had dark hair and deep blue eyes and from the way he stood, he was a definitely tall guy. He wore a black jacket and an expensive watch around his wrist. He looked like someone who belonged in a boy band and hang around with "cool kids" so what on earth was he doing in Evans room.

“Hi” Zayn replied

“I think I'll be leaving now I'll see you tomorrow okay,” Alvin said as he shut the door behind him

“What was he doing in your room?” Zayn asked bluntly

“Oh we game together his really good and I had promised him that we would complete a certain level today”

“I thought your mom didn't allow you to bring friends over to your house including your room?” Zayn asked

“Yeah she was very strict but ever since I turned 16 she even lets me come home close to 11 pm,” Evan responded

“I see” Zayn replied

“So does he come often,” Zayn asked

“Yep almost every day” Evan replied

“Anyway happy valentines day” Zayn said quickly trying to change the topic

“Thanks……is that why you called?” Evan asked jokingly

“Yeah” zayn respond seriously

“Oh” Evan replied surprisingly

“Did u get confessions?” Zayn asked

“Yeah got two of them” Evan replied
