“ Fine. We can do that.” He said as he searched his pocket for his keys.

As we went out to the employee parking lot, we started walking towards a white Porsche as he used the keys to open the car, he had told me to get in the passenger's seat. How he could afford a Porsche and not a decent house still astonished me. 

"You impressed?" Eli said with a smirk on the side of his face.

"Not really, just surprised." I said with a smile.

"Nice to hear that from you..." Eli said before he was cut off by me.

"I'm still surprised that you got a job at the firm." I mocked.

"You know I don't know how girls even like you... you're just so..." Eli grunts

"Hot" I finish his sentence 

"Arrogant, a narcissist, self involved and rude." Eli says.

"Coming from the guy who mockingly poked at a tattoo, of all things." I respond.

"That's our bit. Sarcasm followed by..." Eli stops in his tracks before becoming silent.

"Followed by... You gonna finish that sentence." I said grinning ear to ear.

"tension..." Eli finishes.

"Oh... I didn't know you were gay. If I knew that I would have came onto you long ago" I wink.

"Not funny." Eli replied.

"Who said I was joking" I said biting my lip.

"Hey hotshot, i thought you were straight." Eli said.

"I could've said the same thing, and honestly gender isn't really an issue. I mean why should love be limited by what's in your pants." I said.

"Nice insight, do you have Shakespeare memorized too, or..." Eli says before I cut him off.

"Hey bigmouth, while you were busy running your mouth you missed your exit." I said.

"You live in the grocery store?" He replies.

"No, we have to get a few things. I mean I live alone. And for the record that means no one night stands." I say.

"I have three different things I wanna say to that..." He says with a serious expression.

"The floor is yours." I say grinning.

"One, What are we getting?" He says.

"An extra blanket, any essentials, and some food." I say 

"Two, you're single?" He says surprised.

"I don't got time to settle down right now. If i'm being honest." I respond.

"And Lastly Three, I don't have one night stands." Eli says. 

"So you're single?" I smirk.

"Surprising huh. With a face like this you would think I would be with multiple partners." He says.

"So you really do go for men too." I say hoping for something.

"I was married...to a woman." He says.

"Hey you could like men too." I say.

"Hey look at that, we are at the store lets go inside."
