As a white woman I can't give a definition of what is racial fetishization and racism and cultural appropriation but I did came home with a latino boyfriend and later, and a black boyfriend in both cases I got compliments on landing a handsome, "exotic" man, more big dick jokes than even I can laugh at...and-not-so subtle warning about "those men", "those people", "he might be a criminal", "Does he know where I can get meth?"
And of course, those are all "just because they are concerned", they "would be just as worried if I dated an acadian or a white english guy!"
