Thomas begins his attempts at clearing cabins of passengers in hopes of getting them to the boat deck.
He encounters John Hugo Ross, of Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, returning home from vacation with a terrible case of dysentery, he was unconcerned with the apparently sinking Titanic.
His body was never recovered and it is thought he drowned in his cabin, A-10.
