I don't know how many of you are anime fans, but I am. Finally, after watching tons of shows I started watching Dragon Ball. oooooh boy, there are some things that intrigue me, to say the least.
1. Everyone knows the infamous, It's over nine thousand! Line right? Well, a couple of weeks ago I got to that part. It was around episode 30 of Dragon Ball Z. Then I realized something, um... there is still 270 episodes left in Z alone plus another 100 for Dragon Ball Super. If nine thousand is a lot, how high will people's power levels be in the future?
Here is where it gets a little... crazy.
Everyone who has heard of Dragon Ball knows who Freiza is. I'm at episode 105 now in Z and the Frieza fight was just finished. When Frieza first appeared his henchmen tried gagging his power level, it was 1,000,000. Suddenly 9,000 doesn't seem like a lot. But wait, there's more.
When Frieza starts fighting he reveals that he is only at 1% of his max power. That means at max he can go to 100,000,000. Um... and then Goku beats him, which means Goku is over 100,000,000. Have I mentioned that in Dragon Ball there are still 300 episodes left! Apparently there are freaking litteral Gods in Super! How high will these numbers get, and why was a measly 9,000 the phrase that got popular?
2. The Frieza fight was long, like really long. If you count when he started fighting Goku's friends, then the fight was 30 episodes long... 30x20 minutes for each episode is equivalent to 600 minutes... for one fight. In case you can't comprehend that 600 minutes is 10 hours. Avengers Infinity War was 2.5 hours. Watching the Frieza fight is like watching Infinity War 5 times or watching a 10 hour Nyan Cat loop!
That fight was way too long. The worst part, most of it was just one-liners like, How!?, But I killed you!, Ha I'm not even trying.
These were just two thoughts I had about Dragonball that I wanted to share.
