I will never forget the best case of this ever. We were dog-sitting (long term) when I was a kid - a full size (think retriever/pitbull size) mutt called chip. We had, at one point a litter of kittens we were trying to raise used to handling/people.
Chip (the dog) had just come in to the kitchen from one side, when from the other came a tiny awkwardly running kitten (like, palm-size). Chip froze, startling the fluff ball. Kitten starts to stumble his way to investigate. Chip FLIPS, on the hard kitchen floor - four paws scrabbling randomly in all directions as he frantically tries to back away from this tiny ball of fur, almost ten feet away from him.
Musings of a happily married, anxiety filled, body positive mega-dork. Join me as we snuggle the wild, untamed Boedy, chug hot cocoa, and rant about how long we have to wait until Halloween.
