I remember recess vaguely.
I remember the playground was made out of old wood, except for the slides and the swings.
Those were made out of plastic.
I remember hardly making any friends those few times I was out on the playground, it came with being the quiet kid.
I would always sit in a little corner of the playground and bring a sad replacement for a friend.
A little stick I found earlier on.
"This is rather sad." A voice said.
I looked around, no one was there.
"Who said that?" I asked.
The voice began cackling.
"Wasting time asking useless questions. You're in need of a friend, yes?"
I shrugged, then nodded.
"Yes"
The voice cackled again, a little softer this time."
"Looks like I came at the right time, I'm here to be your friend."
I smiled to myself.
Having a voice in my head wasn't so bad, was it?
"Whats your name?"
I asked the voice.
"Again with the stupid questions."
The voice sighed.
"I'm your friend now, forever. I plan on staying, thats all you need to know."
I smiled again and nodded, playing with the stick again, sitting in silence.
"Do you see that rock over there?"
The voice asked.
I looked around and spotted a rather large rock on the ground, right next to a bench, and picked it up.
"Good, now throw it at that kid over there."
My jaw dropped and my eyes blinked over and over.
"I'm not going to hit an innocent boy."
The voice grumbled.
"I was afraid of that."
The next thing I knew, everything went dark, then I hear a distant thud,
Followed by a loud scream.
