Eli's chest rose and fell slowly, his eyes pinned to the large male wolf holding onto him. He was almost twice the size of Eli, with bulging muscles that could probably kill Eli if Liam simply bent his arm. He had long blonde hair that was tangled and messy, reaching to his mid-back. His golden colored wolf ears matched his hair perfectly.
Despite being a wolf, he had soft brown eyes and an extremely handsome face. Had Eli seen him in any other circumstance he would've thought Liam looked like a monster. Though now, he was taking the time to actually appreciate the wolf's looks despite being scared still.
It was surprising to the young deer, that a wolf had given his name. Of course, he had replied with his in a soft voice, trying not to think what Liam would do once he was done playing with him.
After a long silence, Liam moved back behind Eli, where he could no longer see him, and gently said in almost a whisper "You're quite beautiful... I've never seen a live deer so close before..."
"Live" The word echoed in Eli's head as he began to shake slightly, trying his hardest not to show the wolf how scared he was. The claws on his hip and now on his shoulder tightened slightly but still remained gentle. It was as if Liam was afraid of accidentally breaking Eli... like he was made of glass.
"I... th-thank you... Liam..." As Eli said Liam's name he let out a soft hum and loosened his grip on Eli.
"I like the way you say my name... so sweet... makes it seem much gentler and innocent when you say it..." Liam said softly, his deep voice tickling Eli's ear and causing him to shudder.
Eli turned a light pink color, the blush coating his shoulders and face. He couldn't help but over think what Liam had said. It sounded way worse than Eli had assumed he meant. "...oh..." He whispered while leaning forward slightly, the familiar feeling of vines constricting his limbs caused him to let out a soft huff.
"Do you want help?" Liam spoke again, his right-hand claws moving lower to one of Eli's thighs where a vine had slid up and gotten wrapped around his leg worse.
Eli shuddered at the movement of Liam's hand but nodded his head hesitantly, holding his breath as Liam's claws hooked on the vine and tore it with ease. He proceeded to break the bindings like he was ripping paper until Eli was free.
The small deer stumbled forward out of Liam's grasp, tripping over a rock almost instantly. He fell to the ground and whimpered, the snapping of twigs behind him reminded him that Liam was still there. He glanced back to get his first full view of Liam, and his eyes widened in fear.
He was tall... very tall and had claws on the end of each finger. He wore shorts made out of fur that Eli prayed wasn't deerskin. Eli had been able to feel his biceps before, but now he was able to see Liam's hulking mass just larger than the biggest buck Eli had ever seen. His legs were much like Eli's and the golden wolf fur met his shorts and seemed to disappear. His paws were massive compared to Eli's petite hooves.
Despite already knowing Liam wasn't trying to hurt him, his instincts kicked in and he panicked. His body moved before he could think logically, causing his hooves to dig into the ground and propel him away from the wolf. He scrambled up and began sprinting, but in the heat of the moment, he seemed to trigger something in Liam who lurched forward and tackled him to the ground.
Eli cried out in pain as Liam's claws sunk into his back, and he could feel the unmistakable feeling of teeth clamped of his lower neck. It was a loose bite, with more of the purpose to hold him down. Whether it was an accident or not it hurt, and Eli was terrified again.
