“Oh, come on,” Kelly says. “He was totally flirting with you!”

I’m leaning miserably over the counter at Lingerie World talking to Kelly. There are literally no customers in this store. Ever. I seriously need to find a new place of work.

“Okay so what if he was?” I tell her. “He seems like the type to flirt with every girl who goes in there for pizza.”

“So, what?” She says. “As if you aren’t the biggest flirt whore in the world.”

Flirt whore? I need a new best friend.

“I have enough guys that I’m talking to already,” I tell her. “I’m like seeing three guys right now. Not that any of them know that of course.”

Kelly laughs.

We both never date anyone ever, its like a rule we have. We both talk to at least three guys or more at once, that way your feelings are distributed between them all. Oh, and we never have sex with them, but we keep them thinking that we will soon.

“There is never enough,” We both laugh, but I stop when I see who just walked in.

Kelly gives me a look and I try to keep a poker face because I know he is looking.

He looks even hotter than he did at the pizza place. He’s with the same friend too, the mysterious looking one that seems like an idiot.

I walk over to them confidently because I look good in the uniform. My manager makes us wear these short tight black dresses with high socks, I feel like I look like a waitress not a cashier at a lingerie store.

“Are you stalking me now?” I ask, with a playful smile.

“You wish I was,” He says. Damn, he is so hot. “I’m just here to find a gift for my sister actually.”

“You buy bras and panties for your sister?” I ask.

His friend looks like he wants to burst out laughing.

“Yeah his sister buys him boxers and condoms for Christmas and he buys her bras and undies for her birthdays.” His friend says loudly.

“Shut up Daniel,” He tells him.

“I guess you and your sister are pretty close then,” I say skeptically.

“How much closer can they get,” Daniel says. “They live in the same house.”

“Sorry my friend is kind of an ass,” He says. “I’m Jacob by the way.”

“That’s a cute name,” Kelly says, popping up behind me.

“I’m not an ass!” Daniel says. “Unless you like asses, mines pretty cute.” He turns around and sticks out his butt towards us. Honestly, it’s kind of a nice butt.

“I’m Kelly, and she’s Jade.”

“Anyway, so for your sister,” I say, changing the subject. I don’t want to seem too interested. “What size is she?”

His face goes blank and then he says, “Uh, I think she’s your size.”

“Hmm,” I say. “It sounds like she has a nice body.”

He looks at me like he wants to take me home with him and says, “Oh, she does.”

“This is getting weird,” I say.

“Yeah it is,” He agrees, realizing what he just said. “I didn’t mean she has a nice body or something that’s weird. What I mean is… okay I don’t have a sister.”

“So, you aren’t casually bra shopping for your sister?” I say sarcastically. “I’m shocked, I’m appalled, I’m…baffled.”

“Baffled?” He asks with a raised brow. “Your baffled?”

“Yes, baffled.”

“That’s the most hideous word I’ve ever heard.”

“But I said it so beautifully that you were baffled.” I say.

“I wasn’t baffled.” He says.

“Now your ugly because you said it.”

“Your right I’m so ugly how can I get anyone to ever go out with me?” He says. “This is your fault now you have to go out with me because no one else will.”

“I don’t have to,” I say, smiling.

“But you want to,” He says, smiling too.

“You want to.” I tell him.

“I do,” He confesses.

“Well maybe I do too…maybe.”

“I think you do,” He says. “All I need is your number, we could set something up and your dream will come true.”

I see Kelly and the Daniel guy talking and laughing. Is Kelly seriously into that guy? I mean he’s hot but he’s an idiot.

“My dream?” I laugh. “Your too modest.”

“I know it’s a curse and a gift,” He says. “But I really would like to take you out.”

I cave and give him my number, how could I not?

I’m almost squealing with excitement by the time he leaves and I pray that it wasn’t showing all over my face. But he is just so hot and funny, and charming.

“Did you get his number?!” Kelly asks.

“Yes!” I practically scream. “Did you get the idiots number?”

“No,” She says. “He just kept asking me if I liked his butt in the jeans he was wearing and told me he only wears Levi’s because it feels like the denim is caressing his butt cheeks while he walks.”

We burst out laughing.

As soon as I get home I check my phone to see that he texted me asking how excited I am to be talking to him. He’s such a cocky asshole… I love it.

I talk to him over text for the rest of the night and he wants me to go out for coffee with him tomorrow morning, which obviously, I agree to.

I practically ignore all the other guys I’m talking to, because he is so much more interesting and fun. So many guys are just perverts or boring, but he is just so… I can’t describe it. He’s just interesting to talk to.

I call Kelly asking her what I should wear and she helps me pick some clothes out. I pick out my high waisted jeans and a crop sweater that’s maroon. We decide I should curl my hair instead of straightening it.

I put on the outfit to see what it looks like in the mirror and that’s when I realize I need to be careful. This guy is a charmer, and I know his type. He is probably just like how I am. Talks to a bunch of girls, never dates, makes you think that he likes you but just wants to have sex with you.

I take off my outfit and put my pajamas on. I can’t fall for this guy, or any guy for that matter. But especially not this one, it’s too easy.
