Alex's Pov

Once I picked Luna up I could feel how hot he was through my sweater and it was beginning to make me sweat. I carried him down the stairs with Teddy trailing behind me, I glanced down at him in my arms just shaking.

"C'mon we gotta hurry before he gets even worse, could you get him some water I'll be out in the front."

Teddy complied as we split up; all my words just messily fell out of my mouth. Nothing felt real, this was like a bad dream only I knew deep down...it was real.

"Luna I'm going to get you out of here, okay?"

We finally made it through the drunken crowd of people as Luna wrapped his frail arms around my neck, his breathing was heavy almost like he was panting. 

Before long Teddy finally made it out of the house with a bottle of water in hand. We both just bolted to my car, as I fumbled the keys from out of my pocket I got the doors unlocked and I almost had Luna in the car but he had other plans for us.

"A-Alex put me down on the hood."

He barely made the words come out but I quickly set him down, he leaned away from my car beginning to dry heave. Then started puking everything up, I stepped back as Teddy and I just watched in horror.

Luna's Pov

I didn't know what was happening anymore, I saw Alex beating the shit out of Daniel then Teddy quickly ripping him away, I could feel myself get heavier and heavier.

 Wait, Teddy, was here he probably thinks I'm so stuupid. Eventually, I was scooped off the floor as Alex rushed through the party trying to get me outside; I felt so nauseous I just hid my face in his shirt. 

Everything sounded muffled, but he soon made it out of the house and began running for his car. He was almost there but my stomach could no longer handle it.

"A-Alex put me down on the hood."

I whispered out and sure enough, he heard me, as soon as he placed me down I began dry heaving; I was in so much pain.

"Agh ack hgn."

I puked my literal guts out over the car, once it seemed to be making my stomach feel a little better I curled up just laying on the hood. It was cool on my forehead and face making me ease up.

"Ngh"

Alex quickly made his way back over to me.

"Are you okay, what's happening that's more than just alcohol."

I shook my head still aching from dry heaving so hard, I wanted to tell him but I couldn't remember much it's like I didn't even know how I got like this, to begin with.

"Luna let me see your face!"

He grabbed my head lifting my hair out of my face then drew his phone out, putting the flashlight in my eyes.

"Your pupils are fucking huge."

I began feeling really warm once again, and I think they could tell as I started pulling at my shirt.

"Here drink some water, before you get dehydrated and pass out."

Alex shoved the cold bottle into my chest and I never drank something so fast.

"Luna, could you please tell me what happened?"

I finished the bottle of water but didn't feel any better, to be honest, I felt worse. I began panting again so I held my head in my hands, I didn't wanna look at anyone I was so embarrassed.

"Luna?"

I shook my head closing my eyes, I could see shapes and waves. I opened them once again; this time I could see odd splotches of colours now surrounding me.

"I feel weird, I'm scared p-please."

I slipped off the hood of the car and began circling around staring at all the street lights, they danced with my eyes.

"L-Luna?!"

I dropped to my knees then began frantically laughing, all the pretty funny colours made me happy.

"Alexx everything is so pretty, your so pretty."

After a few minutes of laughing, I felt sad all over again and the floating sensation I once had became heavy.

"I'm going to die, Alex I-I don't wanna."

I laid down in the middle of the road sobbing into my hands.

Alex's Pov

I couldn't believe what I was watching, it was like Luna became 2 different people. One second he was frantically laughing the next he was curled up in the middle of the road crying, claiming he was going to die. I ran over to him; pulling his limp body into mine.

"Hush, your not going to die. I'm going to take you home alright?"

He shook his head continuing to sob.

"Alex you can't leave me alone, or they'll get mee!"

He didn't make any sense but I could obviously tell Daniel slipped him something.

"O-Okay I'll take you to my house alright, I won't leave you alone."

He lifted his head up moving it away from me so he could proceed to puke some more.

"Hgh ack ngh."

He dry heaved again but only threw up water this time, once he was done he wiped his mouth trembling.

"Luna, can I put you in my car just until we reach my house?"

He shook his head.

"I d-don't know."

I rubbed his back trying to calm him down.

"It's fine if you have to throw up again, I'll pull over deal?"

He shrugged, but I grabbed his torso anyway hauling him to his feet. Teddy went on his other side and we walked him back over to the car.

"You can lay back here and rest."

I opened the door and he crawled in curling up, I gently shut the door then looked back at Teddy dumbfounded.

"That was..."

I just didn't know what to say, I had never seen him like that in my life and it hurt knowing that I wasn't even here to prevent it.

"That wasn't your fault."

I went over and sat on the hood of my car just thinking, Teddy sat down beside me.

"There is no way you can blame yourself for this."

I felt my anger go throughout my body and I lost control of my mouth for the second time tonight.

"How can I not, If I just made Luna go with me from the start he wouldn't have been this fucked up. I hate Daniel and yet I just let Luna go with him."

I held my head in my hands.

"Alex you did what you could, we'll just make sure Daniel stays away from Luna. After the beating you gave him, I'm sure he'll leave him alone."

I scoffed.

"You think this is it? This is just the beginning."

Once the weekends over Daniel and his "friends" are going to try and do the same to me, or even worse to Luna.

"Daniel gets what he wants that's apart of being popular."

I huffed feeling a little happy, I did just beat the shit out of the guy I've been wanting to beat up since the dawn of time.

"Forget it, I'll deal with it when the time comes. Let's just go.."
