Everyone took a moment to process what Pele had just said. It was Jamie who understood first. " Wait, do you mean your taking Ashley away from us?!?!?!?" Pele nodded. Millicent stopped shaking. For the first time since coming into the hospital, she stopped crying. " You can't!! Ashley is our family, you can't take her away," she said strongly, not letting her fear show. Everyone was surprised. Millicent had never stood up to anyone, EVER. It just showed how much Ashley meant to her, as well as everyone else. Jamie put her hand on Millicent's shoulder. " I don't want her to leave either......At least not permanently."
