I told you...
"huff... huff"
What are you thinking? Do you believe you're about to join me?
-As if-
He was standing in front of me with dark eyes and a a deathly stance that no man could have battled with. It was terrifiyng...
But it was going against no other than me.
So I put myself in the hands of Hera... and made the next move.
"AHHHHRG"
My sword and I were one, the hoodie wouldn't be able to stop us next time... to stop me...
"GO-TO-HEEEELL"
Did I hear right?
-KLINNK-
The bronze collided once more.
"huff... huff, aaaAAARGH"
The hoodie looked at me. He didn't even make a sound, if it wasn't for his body moving, I wouldn't have known he was alive. His face was of stone. Like a doll moving on its own.
Then I tried making the air angry, I called the spirits and the spirits heard me. They were going to help.
Now I'm curious about something...
"Shut up"
You know... from a while now, I've been sensing a similar force from that hoodie.
-huh?-
What do you think it is?
I stopped breathing, the air stopped running. I could clearly hear the sound of my opponent's heart, his breath, and his steps...
It was amazing. And I felt unstoppable.
Careful boy, you are being too imprudent.
-I don't care-
I started running, his feet followed mine. The woods were getting closer as my steps became lighter. Then for the likings of Hera, I tripped.
-Look around, theres no one, pay attention, remember, you have to survive, and today is not the day to die-
-...-
-A stick... thats right-
I was too excited to calm down. Everything was extremely stimulating, and the thought of having a great opponent was making me go crazy.
It was the first time in a long time I had someone who could turn things around.
I lifted the stick and waited for an echo.
-There it is-
The sharp object on my hand went flying faster than the fierce birds that furrow the sky. It cut the surface of one tree until it stopped.
When I raised my eyes to see where the object had stamped. I couldn't understand what I was witnessing.
The stick had fallen on the ground and the hooded man was standing there, with his thick cloack covering every inch of his body. I stood and wondered if it really was that strong as to have halted my performance.
The hoodie didn't even falter. His eyes didn't even blink.
I was astonished. Nobody could have stayed alive after feeling my wind. Because it was not like the breeze in summer or the cold and sweet air in spring. It was the kind of knife that makes you bleed even when barely thouching it.
Somehow, I felt ridiculous.
What a let down, golden boy.
"There's no time, I gotta make this son of a bitch go away for now"
Language.
Then, a real knife came running towards me.
"Wha-what?"
-This knife...-
I twirled to face my opponent. It wasn't necessary 'cause his horrible mien was already at my back. I didn't know how I hadn't sensed him.
Suddenly I found myself caught by his two thin hands. They had a brutal force that caused something to snapped. I thought: how many had this fellow killed before? We were no different.
But I was not going to let him get away with this one murder.
"gggh...GHA", I let a grievous cry out.
I looked for an open spot. My aim became his leg. I grabbed my way and we both fell onto the ground. I stood up first.
I clutched his neck. It was a slender neck and I felt bad that he didn't even have his nut yet. I was about to kill a kid.
Are you sure about it? You could get answers from this kid.
"He hasn't even let a shriek out, He's not going to talk".
"First. Let's get that spoky hood out".
If I have to admit, that was a mistake, because I left one spot opened.
He reached one other knife that I didn't see. My leg had now another cut. Blood was coming out remarkably swift.
It didn't hurt. It burned like fire does.
It definetely had poison.
"SHIT".
I threw one punch, my sight was getting blurry. He dodge. I threw two more punches and kicked with all my will his hips. I broke one of his ribs, neverthless the kid was still standing.
"COME", I yelled.
He ran at me and I proudly hit his back with my knuckles as I moved faster. Then... I noticed the cliff behind us.
I felt more dizzy.
I stopped the noise once more.
