I stand there triumphantly, the beast was dead. No longer did it's terror plague the land. I pull the sword from its skull and holster it on my back while watching the waves from afar peacefully ascend and descend. A smile grows across my bloody torn up face. My eyes close as my ears are delighted with sounds of seagulls soaring through the sky. I can't help that my arms are shaking, the battle must have destroyed my nerves and pulled my muscles.
Suddenly I hear the bird's song turn into a scream as they all flap away. My eyes open in reaction, only to see a gigantic wave from afar coming my way. It must be a tsunami, no it can't be tsunamis aren't even a tenth of that size! Panicking, I sprint to the city and start yelling the bad news in hopes some can evacuate. After watching me save all of them once they listen without a doubt and start running.
I want to follow them but my body won't move! The battle from earlier has worn me out so much I just want to collapse, except I know that is suicide right now. My legs start moving slowly and my arms flail trying to leave before it's too late.
At my rate I'm done for, there is nothing more I can do. Sweat pours down on me as my body falls to the concrete. Gravity feels so heavy that my head can't even point straight while lying on my back.
