All Hail, King Thimble

The Unexpected Mighty Sandwich of Friendship

The Unexpected Mighty Sandwich of Friendship

May 08, 2019

The air around us In this field with the random brick wall settled a bit as nightmare looked at me. He turned and created a a portal to another world.

I sighed, realizing how my life story has kinda jumped the shark. The portal affected the air a bit. My cape flapped a bit as little Nightmare and Candy looked at the portal.

"Scout out the building you see without being seen. I want to know what the Elementals are up to. DO not get seen, In thirty minutes I will create a portal where i left you. If you do not return, I will leave you behind.

I gave him a look and sighed. Stealth wasn't something I liked, I liked to announce myself to people as frequently as possible so they can be stunned by my magnificence.  I crossed my arms and looked at the portal.

"Fine, sure." I proclaimed unamused.

"Go. now." He said. I sighed and walked Into the swirling portal. The two children looked at my departure uncertain.

I appeared In yet, and uncreatively another field. In the distance was a singular tall gray rectangular structure. A temple. The sky was cheerfully blue. Slowly I approached the great doors blocking my entrance. After a minute I peaked in to see a white hallway with many doors.

I slowly crept in. God the fashion sense of the builder of this building was, rather repulsive. I heard voices from the hall and began to panic. I dashed Into the first door I saw and closed It gently. I was trapped In a room, with many shelves and no exit. On the shelves were many spherical orbs that were blueish whitish.  The voices drew closer. I was trapped. I looked at my reflection In two of the orbs and winked at one before grabbing it. Man these things sucked at reflections. My mirror of pure gold was much better back at home. Wonder how my castle was doing. Suddenly I dropped one of the orbs and suddenly a portal emerged where the glass shards remained before they vanished. I gasped as a voice echoed from outside my door.

"What was that?" A young male voice asked. My face paled as the door began to open. The portal was shrinking soon to vanish. Taking a leap of faith, I quite literally took a leap Into the portal right before It dissipated.

I landed on my face as i looked up to see my throne in it's crumpled pieces form. The lamest of forms. I stood up confused. I was In my throne room.  I stood up flabbergasted as i heard a voice.

"Sir?" A voice asked from behind me. I jumped and summoned a magic spell towards the voice. An explosion destroyed the throne room. I flew into my bedroom as Kirem fell on top of me as we both landed on my deluxe bed. Bliss kissed my back before Kirem's body wreckt my front half. We both groaned as I shoved Kirem off the bed.

"What the hell Kirem, don't sneak up on me like that!" I yelled. He stood up as he brushed himself off and readjusted his red visors.

"Sir, you appeared out of nowhere! Where were you?" Kirem asked.

"That's not important, what have you been doing while I've been gone!?" I yelled as I sat up and crossed my arms.  Suddenly a broom fell from the sky and smacked me in the face. Kirem grabbed the broom.

"Ah there's my broom, I was sweeping up the mess you left."  I growled annoyed as I stood up and fished the other sphere from my pocket.  I studied It.

"Sir may I ask-" Kirem yelled before I mashed my finger against his lips.

"HEY! I'm doing thinky think time!" I yelled. He sighed and nodded.

I studied the sphere carefully. It brought me to my home just as I had been thinking about beforehand. I wondered. I thought about the shelve room I had been In minutes ago and threw the sphere. In front of my bed a portal appeared. Kirem looked at the portal amazed.

"Wow sir that's-" he said before I pushed him aside.

"K bye again, get to work." I commanded as I jumped In. Kirem fell over and Into the wall before falling onto the ground.

I appeared back In the room with shelves. I looked at the orbs and stole some and stuffed them Into my pockets giggling evilly. I made sure no one was in the hall and snuck out. I wiped my forehead as it was quiet.

But then It wasn't, like god damn. The voices were back. I gasped silently. I jumped into another door. I closed It and sighed as the voices walked past. I breathed in relief.

"Uh, hello? Who are you?" A voice asked from behind. I jumped out of my skin as I turned around. A young girl with white cascading hair stood In front of me. Her eyes twinkled with the colour green. Her face was not of worry but happiness as she smiled. She wore a modern and casual pink shirt. She also wore some blue jeans. Her feet were covered with white shoes, though some bright green socks stuck out. I pressed up against the door.

"AH! I've been spotted! We must battle to the death now!" I yelled revealing my sword. The girl stepped back and began to sweat.

"Whoa, whoa, what!? Why do we need to do that?" She asked. I looked at her baffled.

"Because we are enemies!" I yelled. She tilted her head confused.

"I don't know even know you. Who said that?" She asked.

I blinked and rose my finger before becoming more frazzled.

"I..wait..Your confusing me...your...my enemy...I think." I responded. She giggled and walked forward. I pressed up against the door defensively.

"Well, then lets restart and see to It we aren't enemies, I'm Hannah, You?" She asked as she stuck out her hand for a hand shake. I studied her hand and reluctantly shook her hand.

"Thimble." I replied slowly. She nodded and turned to a counter.

"Thimble? that's a funny name." She giggled. I glared a bit before she turned around holding a plate. She walked up to me and offered me a sandwich.

"Then I offer you a sandwich I was making new friend." She replied with a smile. I looked at the sandwich and judged It hard.

"Sorry I don't except peasant food."  I replied. She looked dismayed for a quick second before smiling.

"Oh, this Isn't you ordinary sandwich." She replied. My interest was peaked.

"Oh?" I responded. She chuckled and nodded quickly.

"Why yes! This is a mighty sandwich imbued with great power!" She fibbed. I gasped.

"Really!? I like magic!" I squealed happily. Hannah laughed.

"Good because It's the most magical kind of magic within It!" Hannah replied.  I looked at her dumbfounded.

"WHAT KIND!?!?" I screamed happily.

"Friendship!" Hannah said. I stopped jumping up and down.

"Oh. That doesn't sound very magical." I replied crossing my arms. She chuckled.

"That's the sandwich's power tricking you Thimble, the sandwich's power is Unexpected, the friendship part of it convinces lesser people to not believe It's power." My eyes lit up.

"WOAH! I ALMOST FELL VICTIM!!!" I yelled. She nodded.

"Yes and this unexpected mighty sandwich of friendship is all yours!" Hannah yelled to me. I swooped the sandwich positively giggling.

"YES! The power is all mine! Muhahaha!" I yelled. Hannah looked at me funny as I held the sandwich close to my face.

"Was that an evil laugh?" She asked confused. I shushed her as I took a small bite from the sandwich. Best. God. Damn Sandwich ever.

My eyes lit up.

"The magic is flowing In me! I can feel my power raising!" I yelled filled with vigor.

"Okay gigs up I lied there's not any magic In that sandwich." i looked at her confused.

"What!? Then how does this taste so amazing!?" I yelled. Hannah giggled and looked away blushing.

"I put my heart and soul Into making it...I guess you could say It was made with love?" Hannah said. I finished the sandwich.

"Love, huh, Remind me to track kirem down and tell him to buy some for my meals." I replied. Hannah laughed confused. I slowly chuckled too with her, thinking about how I could buy a army of evil magical sandwiches filled with the ultimate power source. love.

Suddenly the door opened behind me.

"Hey, lunch ready yet Hannah?" A male voice asked.

I turned around to see a young male with messy brown hair over blonde eyes. He had a satch around him and a sword on his back against his brown shirt.

I gulped my sandwich as he drew his sword.

"I-Intruder!" He yelled. I swore in my head.
