The next day was just like any other day, Kenan rushed to school had his morning classes and then went to the Science Department. Today was his last day of training so he was finally going to be working hand in hand with Cairo. To Kenan's surprise, everything went on smoothly. There was no tension in the air or awkward eye contact. Cairo focused on his job and Kenan assisted where he could. They both kept quiet about the night at the cafe, after all, there was no reason to address it anymore.

kenan felt guilty about it too. Maybe he had gone out of line that day. After all, it wasn't only his past but also Cairo's past. If Cairo had decided that he didn't want to talk about it then it was only right for Kenan to respect that.

Cairo had a whole new life and obviously, the last thing he wanted was to talk about a pornographic video he made years back. In all honesty, Kenan didn't think the whole thing through. His goal then was to ask about it and see his response but he didn't know what to expect after that. Now that he thought about it, they were not obviously going to hug and laugh about the whole situation like it was a light-hearted topic. He truly wanted to apologize but he felt keeping his distance and being professional at the lab would be in some twisted way his apology.
