It was 3 pm in the city of Fortville. The birds were tweeting and the sun was shining brightly. It was the perfect day for a confession. And that was what Kang did on that very beautiful day. He stood at the gate of his university and waited for Serg. When he saw Serg walk out the gate he took him to the side and uttered those three dangerous words.

“I love you”

Time stood still but the world still seemed to move. Serg stood there and said nothing at all for a whole minute. It was as if he was trying to figure out why a boy from his economics class was confessing to him.

Just then time started to move again and Kang spoke again

“I have liked you for a long time. I know its weird hearing this from a guy and I know you're not gay but I had to tell you. I had to be brave and just tell you how I feel” Kang said as his eyes turned red and watered up.

“So now that you have confessed to me,” Serg said, “what exactly do you want me to do?”

“ I.. ... I want you to tell me how you feel or if you acknowledge my love and maybe become your friend” Kang replied failing to look Serg in the eye as he spoke

“I don't like you” Serg replied with a blank look on his face that almost seemed scary

“Why because I'm a guy,” Kang asked with a breaking voice 

“Yes,” Serg replied with no hesitation

“So if I was a girl would you like me?” Kang asked again not knowing how to respond anymore

“You're now asking stupid questions and wasting my time,” Serg said as he turned around to walk away.

“Wait!” Kang screamed as his tears poured down his face.

“Can I be your friend?” Kang asked

“No,” Serg replied and then walked away without looking back

It was now 3:08 pm in the city of Fortville. The birds are tweeting and the sun is still shining brightly. But again its the worst day to have your heartbroken. In just 8 minutes Kang had confessed to his longtime crush and gotten his heart crushed. The pain he felt at that moment pierced his soul and killed him. Kang had just died a deathless death.
