On the first day of a heartbreak, you cry that's what Kang realized and that was exactly what he did when he got back home. He cried until his tear ducts were dried out then went to bed and unfortunately in his dream all he could do was cry some more. On the second day of his heartbreak Kang felt worthless he felt like something that didn't deserve to be loved. It was the worst kind of shame anyone could ever feel. He teared up group photos that had Sergs face in them. He turned off all his social media afraid that he might blow up his feelings on Sergs timeline. On the third day Kang finally just felt disconnected from everything. He felt disconnected from life itself and he didn't know if it was still worth living.
Kang spent his whole weekend crying over his rejection but it was time for him to man up and head back to school. He needed to focus on what was most important and distract himself from the pain.
“Hey, Kang! Slow down!” shouted Mark “where have you been av been trying to reach you all weekend?”
“Sorry I just had a lot on my mind” Kang replied with a lifeless look in his eyes
“Uhm so how did your confession go?” Mark asked
“Terrible I got rejected” Kang replied
“Am so sorry Kang?” mark said
“It's okay I think I'll be fine”
“It's going to take time but I think you will get past it,” Mark said confidently
“I … I just don't know how am gonna face him in class today. I want to be brave but then again I feel so ashamed and what if he told people and I walk into class and become the laughing stock of the whole university” Kang said trying not to start crying again
“Hey, I'm here for you. And fuck him you don't deserve to be humiliated for being honest.” Mark said as he grabbed Kang and hugged him
“I should have asked to be friends or something maybe I rushed into confessing,” Kang said with regret
“Hey look at me. There's no right time to confess. You did what your heart told you to do. I have to rush to class now text me if anything happens I'll come running after you no matter what.” Mark said and then walked up to the stairs to his class. Kang did the same and walked into his economics class and at the front row of the class, he spotted Serg sitting there and laughing with his friends.
