"What your favorite kind of game? (Ex. Shotter, RPG, Survive...)" - Comic Kat Kid
Just so all of you know, I am a HUGE gamer (and no, not "fat"). I love almost every genre (except horror). Anything that is fun to play and keeps you attracted. If I had to choose a few genres, here are my top 5...
1. Platformers: Yes, those games where you jump from platform to platform until you make it to your checkpoint. One of my favorites (and the game that makes me rethink my life choices) is Unfair Mario. Yes, that game that makes you want to throw your computer across the room and not feel any regrets what so ever. It gives you that feeling of, "I almost have it, come on just a little more, ARRRGGHHH!" When I play, I say to myself, "Ok if I die one more time on this level, I will quit and come back to it later. (1 hour later) I hate Unfair Mario, I hate Unfair Mario, I hate Unfair Mario, Why the fudge am I still playing Unfair Mario?" Yep, those are the times when patience counts (that I have none of). Even though it is rage worthy, it's still a great game.
2. RPG: Those games that give you a story and you choose how it goes. Some of the best ones and my favs were Undertale (Rip: Stay Determined (and TazD ;3)), Final Fantasy VII (the only BEST FF game), and Stardew Valley (as hard as trying to beat Unfair Mario). My least favorite is definitely (and surprisingly to most of you) Minecraft Story Mode. This is an abomination to Minecraft since Minecraft is supposed to be ANYTHING YOU LIKE! It defeats the point of the game to add a story mode. I'm SOOO glad that Telltale Games got bankrupt, they deserved it.
3. Open World: Ahhh... the feeling of being able to do ANYTHING you want in the world of your dreams. That was why Minecraft stood out to me. The feeling of building your imagination and trying out others. Roblox, I still have a little envy since a lot of the games are ripoffs of other well-known games (Flee the Facility = Dead by Daylight; Murder Mystery 2 = Murder Mystery (Minecraft version); Jailbreak = Cops and Robbers and so on)... but I'll admit, they are still a whole lot of fun to play (except the whole robux issue, stinken free to play, pay to win games >:[ ).
4. Massive Multiplayer Online: MMO is the best way to find out who is the best of the best. Hypixel is my favorite one, and yes it is on Minecraft... don't judge me.
5. Fighting Games and Beat em ups: Double Dragon 2, Street Fighter 2, Tekken Tag Team Tournament, and more. Those games where you can get your anger out on a person who has nothing to do with your life. Plus you don't get arrested for it, it's a win-win situation (not for the NPC).
