Chapter 4

“SIRE! THE ORACLE HAS LOCATED THEM!”

The King's attendant rushed into the throne room where the King was.

“What is the meaning of this Adrian?” The King's voice rumbled.

“The Oracle has sensed your fated ones presence in our Kingdom!”

The King froze upon his throne.

“Have… have they just been born?”

“No Sire! From what she has announced they are of age!”

“BRING THE ORACLE BEFORE ME.” Vince yelled.

The advisor stumbled out of the room and brought the old woman back.

“What is the meaning of this? I thought you said you would be able to sense their presence as soon as they were born!” Vince growled.

The woman stood rigid before her King.

“I would have, if they had been born in our borders.” She murmured out in a soft voice.

“Then-?!” *BOOM!*

The door to the throne room was thrown open.

“My liege! We have an intruder within our Kingdom! Something has crossed our field! Something with a large amount of magic!” A guard yelled in panic after kneeling as soon as he entered.

The King sat in clear confusion before he turned towards the Oracle.

“Your mate has arrived into our Kingdom my Lord, and they appear to be a foreigner.” The Oracle said.

The King stood and went to tower over the aged lady.

“I want all information of them, where they are, where their going, any and everything.”

The Oracle bowed her head.

“Your wish is my command.”

The guard in the back was clearly confused but the King ignored him.

“Your mate seems to be a young male of the age of 17 near 18 years old.”

“17!?”

“He seems to be heading towards our capital, he is somehow affiliated with some of our populace even though he has never set foot in our Kingdom, till now. He is riding a dragon across the lands at great speeds to reach the city. He should arrive in two days given his pace.”

“What does he look like?” The King murmured.

“I can show you my Lord.”

The Oracle pulled out a small crystal ball from her pocket and waved her hand over it.

The image shifted towards the sky and then onto a young boy on a dragon.

The image drew closer till they could see his face, slightly bruised and with shockingly bright green eyes.

“What- what is his name?”

“His name appears to be Jade, Sire.”

“Jade.” The King said breathlessly as he stared at the image.

“..... Inform all guards across the realm if they are to come into contact with him to assist him in anything. They are to report to me if they meet him and he now has the rank of being a Prince in our country.” The advisors and guards eyes bulged at his command.

“Show this picture of him, use the magic line to tell all of the military and guards stationed everywhere.”

The three scrambled to do his order. King Vince turned towards his throne and smiled once for the first time in many years.

“At last you have come.”
