Yes, furries can have jobs in the fandom. The furry community is full of creative and talented people who can make profit off of their hobby. One kind of person would be an artist who takes requests. A simple profile or headshot drawing could cost from $5 to $20 (3.78 - 15.11 pounds) depending on if you want shading or not. A fully colored whole body drawing could be $50 to $70 (37.77 - 52.88 pounds). These prices seem reasonable for people who aren't very good at art and want to have a fully detailed and shaded image of their perfect character.
Another job you can get from the fandom is making fursuits. Yes, making fursuits is a laborious task but the pay is worth it. For all of the hours put in and all the supplies in making the costume, a fursuit is pretty darn expensive. Just a head from a professional maker like Phoenix Nest can range from $1,100 t $1,600 (831.27 - 1209.12 pounds) and that's just the starting price! A more complex head with more patterns or coloration may cost more than that. A head from pretty good makers like SplinterFox can cost $700 (528.85+ pounds) and up, again, the level of complexity can change the price. The full plantigrade body suits from Phoenix Nest can get up to $5,000 (3,777.50 pounds)! And as I've said before, the most expensive suit-- that I know of-- is Sniper the Angel Dragon, at a whopping $11,575 (8,744.28 pounds)!! That's crazy!
Jobs for more tech savvy folks would be the production of websites, forums, apps, or games for furries. One fur for example would be Klace, a pink wolf who made a beautifully illustrated visual novel for mobile called Major Minor, a game about a character named Taylor who wins a lottery trip to Japan and enjoys his stay with another contestant. Eventually, strange things begin to happen on a different dimension that starts to affect the normal world. It is a wonderful multiple ending story where you can choose what kind of person you want to be, a leader or a follower, and change the future. Again, the character designs and story are extremely well done and I would advise it to those 13 years and up.
