I am presently in a store with Majid buying food stuff. I don't know what posses me to insist on this. I know I almost burned down the kitchen. But it was his fault for saying I should cook. I usually eat noodles in my house because it was easy to cook. And even the noodles sometimes ended up being watery. I cannot cook any other food. I do not know what made me attempt to cook that food earlier today. Maybe it was because I always saw Florence doing it and thought I could do it too.

Majid and I were buying the food stuff in silence. We only talked when we needed. He was picking up things and putting it in the the cart. I too, did the same. It was like we have lived together for a long time. We knew what we needed.

" Hey Majid, is that you? " said a man with a black long hair and green eyes who was standing in front of us.

" Noah, long time" Majid replied him. They seem to know each other very well.

" How have you been doing man? It's like you totally forgot about me" the man said in a light tone.

" It's not like that. I was just so busy" Says Majid. I must be invincible in front of them. Should I just walk away and be buying the things?

" I know, don't be too serious" he says 

" By the way Noah , meet Adrian my wife " he says just when I was about to move away. He should have just said my name only, there was no need to add the wife part. Is he not ashamed to have married a man? I really need to end this marriage as soon as possible.

" Oh congratulations" he says. He didn't even seem shock. He must be one of those people who accept gay marriage. Does he think I am gay? I should clear this up.

" And Adrian, this is Noah, we are long time friends but he left the country some years back " Majid says to me.

" Nice to meet you, the marriage is not- " I was trying to clarify the marriage situation but Majid did not let me.

" I would have love if you were in the wedding" he says, not letting me finish my statement.

" I wish I were there too. I have to go now, my sweet heart is waiting for me" says Noah.

" Yeah man, don't keep her waiting and introduce her to me later" he says to him as Noah walked away.

" Majid, you didn't have to tell him that I was your wife. It is not as if this is what we want" I say to him.

" But I said the truth, right now you are my wife, look Adrian I do not want to argue with you. Let us just quietly buy these things and go" he says. I decided to drop the topic because he was right. So we bought what we needed and left the store. That night we ate noodles and slept.

When I woke up this morning, Majid has already left the house. He has gone to work. I have nothing to do since Florence was still missing. I need to get a new job. I can't just say at home like a housewife and be waiting for Majid to come home. No, it is not that I am actually waiting for him.

I went to the kitchen and just like yesterday. Majid has done breakfast for me. And yet, I couldn't even cook one decent food for him. He left fried egg and fried meat on a plate. I took some slide of bread and tea with the food he left for me and ate it.

As soon as I finish eating, I took my bath and wore good clothes. I have decided I will go look for job. There were vacancies on the newspaper and these places were not that far. Most of them insisted on submitting my CV manually. I took a cab and went to the first place. I submitted and went to the other places. As I was about to enter a cab to head back to Majid house that was where I saw Fabian, my former college mate. We were in the same class with Florence.

" Hey Fab " I called out to him. We used to call him Fab in college then. He wave back at me and walked up to me.

" Adrian, is this really you? You and Florence just abandoned me" he says playfully.

" You know it is not true. We were just trying to make her modelling career stand, that's why we had to focus" I say to him.

" I heard she got married recently in secret" he asked me. How do I tell Fabian that's I got married to the man who is supposed to be her husband? How do I explain it to him?

" Is there a coffee shop near by? " This is what I ended up saying.

" No but my house is just in that building, we can go take coffee there" he says pointing to a building beside the office I just went to.
