“Hey, hey, what is it?” I cup my hands on his face, looking at him.
“I…..I….” I move the hair from his face, “Hey, look at me, what’s wrong,” he looks at me, his eyes wet “I should have stopped him,”
“Stopped who?” I question.
“Nathan, he was drunk, I should have stopped him from drivin’! It’ my fault she’s dead,” I caress his cheek, “Liam, Liam look at me, it’s not your fault,” he shakes his head, “Yes it is,”
“Liam, it’s okay,” I say softly, trying to calm him down. He begins to shake as he keeps shaking his head.
“Breathe, go slowly,” I try again, hoping that he’ll calm down soon.
“It’s my fault,” he keeps saying. I shake my head as I rub his cheek, “No, no it’s not. It’s alright, you’re alright. Breathe slowly,”
“But she isn’t! She’s dead,” he hisses. I take him into a hug, “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry,” I say quietly. He starts to stop shaking as he buries his face in my neck. I rub the back of his head, comforting him. He pulls back and gets up, he goes around the desk and opens a drawer. I just look at Liam as he goes through the drawer. He pulls out a leather notebook and opens the lock on it.
“What’s that?” I say quietly. He flips it open and gives it to me. Dozens of poems on each page. I skim through each poem, “I write them when they happen,” Liam says softly. I nod slightly. So he has these a lot.
“It’s almost filled,” I look up at him, “Liam,” I say softly as I look at him. He shrugs and sits on the couch. I glance back down at the notebook before I set it back down, sitting on the couch next to Liam.
“He wants Jake….” I don’t like the thought of that man taking Jake.
“He’s a drunken bastard, I won’t let him take Jake. He doesn’t deserve him,” I nod slightly, “I wouldn’t want him to take Jake,” I say softly as I look at him. He sniffs and rings his hands “I just hope I’ll win the fight,” I nod lightly. The thought of Jake being taken away by someone who isn’t capable frightens me.
He looks at me and tilts his head “What’s wrong?”
“I’m scared,” I say quietly.
“Of?”
“Him being taken,” I feel my eyes tear up at the thought. He thumbs my cheek “He won’t be,” I nod a little, putting my hand over his.
“I guess you kinda have a ‘mother's instinct’” I laugh lightly, “Really?” he nods “Mhm, want to protect a child no matter what,” I chuckle softly and tuck my hair behind my ear, “I didn’t realize I did that,” he chuckles and kiss my forehead. I smile softly.
“Well you do,” he kisses all over my face. I laugh as he kisses me, putting my hands on his shoulders. He chuckles and kisses me softly, putting his hands on my hips. I kiss him back, smiling under the kiss. He pulls me on top of him and sighs softly.
I relax in his hold, putting my hands in his hair. He bites my lip softly, making me open my mouth.
His tongue tangles with mine as he searches my mouth, his hands tighten. I let out a soft mo_an, wrapping my arms around his neck. He chuckles and pulls away, “Just as wonderful as your laugh,” I shake my head as I laugh, “Really?” he nods “Yes,” I smile and put my head on his shoulder. His face turns a light shade of pink as he cringes.
I laugh lightly and kiss his neck. His face turns darker and tilts his head. I lick the side of his neck, his hands tighten on my hips as he dips his head forward. I bite his neck softly, moving my hand to the side of his neck. He mo_ans softly as his face darkens. I smile and pull back, looking at him.
He looks away “mean,” I laugh, “So you want me to continue?” his face turns darker as he shrugs.
“That’s not an answer, Liam,” he looks at me and glares. I give him a smile, “It’s either a yes,” I say as I go back to his neck, “Or a no,” I say softly. He presses his lips together then nods slowly. I smile and kiss his neck again, going down to his collarbone. He inhales sharply then leans his head back. I bite his neck softly, licking the spot afterward.
“Not my fault,” he says softly. I laugh and lick his neck. He tips his head forward, making me bite down on the spot. He gives a soft mo_an, “Owen…” I smile as I continue, searching for another soft spot. He gasps when I reach the base of his neck. I bite the point, putting my hand on the other side of his neck. A mo_an gets caught in the middle as he looks away. I suck on the spot, wanting to leave a hickey.
“O-Owen,” I stop, leaning back to look at him, “Yeah?” he looks away “N-nothin’” I lean forward, putting my hand under his chin so he can look at me, “Well, it’s obviously something,”
“Just….don’t make too many,” I nod, “My bad, I only wanted to leave one,” I pause and grin, moving towards his ear, “But we’re at four to five now, aren’t we?” he looks at me, surprised. I grin as I look at him, “What?” he looks away “Nothin’,” I let out a sigh and lean on him, “Come on, tell me,”
“N-nothin’ just...took me by surprise is all,” I chuckle lightly, resting my chin on his shoulder, “I mean, three to five isn’t even,”
“Well then make it even,” I laugh softly, closing my eyes, “Eagar, aren’t we?” he huffs softly “No….”
“Are you sure? The huffing doesn’t help you much,” I tease him a little. He tries to glare but doesn’t work. I laugh, he looks away “I’m not,” he mutters. I put a hand on his cheek, smiling softly, “I shouldn’t have teased you like that, sorry,” he looks at me and tilts his head. He chews his bottom lip and looks away. I wrap my arms around his neck, “What are you thinking about now?”
“You might as well keep goin’” I put my hand under his chin, making him look at me, “And why’s that?”
“You know why,” he whispers softly. I lean a little closer to him, “I do?” he presses his lips together and nods.
“I think my memory is a little off, could you tell me?” he glares at me and looks away, his face beet red. I lean back, sighing, “I guess since I don’t know I can’t do anything,” I say sadly, messing with him. He gives a soft whimper “Owen,”
“Yes?”
“Please,” I smile, “Fine,” I laugh, placing my hand on his side as I kiss his neck. I put my hand under his shirt, thumbing his side. He puts his head on my shoulder as he sighs softly. I lick the side of his neck, lightly squeezing his side. He gasps as he buries his face in my neck. I keep going, slowly moving my hand up his side, biting on his neck lightly as I go.
He gives a soft mo_an and I slip my other hand in his shirt, licking his neck again. He gives a soft hiss as he wraps his arms around my neck. I break from his neck, kissing him. He kisses me back and sighs softly through his nose. I hold his sides as we kiss, leaning in more to deepen it. He leans against me, making me fall backward on the couch. My hands leave his sides, cupping his face as he kisses me.
He slips his hand in my shirt and thumbs my chest. I shudder slightly at the sudden touch. His hands are so warm. He sits on top of me and brings his hands to my hips. I look up at him, my face turning a light pink, “What are you doing?” I ask softly, looking at him.
“What do you want me to do?”
“I don’t know,” I say softly.
“That’s not an answer, Owen,” I look away as he uses my own words against me. He bites my collarbone then licks where he bit me. I bite my lip, trying not to make much of a sound. One of his hands goes down a little more as he licks put my neck and bites my ear. I shudder lightly, focusing on his hand more than anything. His hand moves lower as he kisses my ear. I feel my face starting to turn pink, my face and ears hot.
“Was the matter?” he nips my ear, “Your hand… is going dangerously low,” I say quietly.
“Is it? I didn’t know,” he kisses my neck as his hand brushes me. I gasp, my face turning red. He chuckles “Such a pretty red,” I turn my head, looking away. He licks my ear “What happened? Cat caught your tongue?” I shoot a glare at him, “No,” he smirks “Oh?” he kisses me and chuckles. He gets up and stretches. I rub my face, trying to calm down at least a little bit.
“You’re cute when you’re flustered,” I sigh and run a hand through my hair, “Yeah, yeah,”
“Question,” I hum and look at him, “Yeah?”
“Whos your favorite authors?” I think about it, “Lilly Brown… Nick Stole, Maggie Blue, Jordan Prince, and Julie Wade,” I list as I recall some books I read often.
“Wow,” I look at him, “Wow?” he nods then waves me off.
“Why?” he shrugs and looks away. I sit up, looking at him, “No, what was it?”
“Nothin’” he puts in his earpiece and dials a number; a smile on his face. I give him a questioning look, what in the world is he doing?
“This is Prince, give me 47; please,”
“47?” I say quietly, very confused.
“Yes, hi, nice to speak with you. Can I meet you on friday?” he looks at me. I mouth ‘What are you doing?’ to him, not wanting to be too loud. He grins, “thank you, six, and tell 38, 4 and 10 as well. I’ll give you details and information later in email,” I wait for him to finish the call, utterly confused. He takes out the earpiece and smiles to himself.
“You’re gonna love me,”
“What did you just do?” I ask.
“You’ll see, soon,” I nod my head slightly, “Okay?”
