“Sebastian.” A soft feminine voice called out. Sebastian looked around, but all he could see was a field of lilies.
“Lilies mean death.” He thought, kneeling down and softly touching one of the petals. The flower shriveled at his touch, making him stand, and back away.
“Sebastian.” The voice said again. He whipped around, to see a woman. An oddly familiar woman, dressed in a flowing white dress. She took a step near her, but her figure became distorted. “My boy,” She started, putting her hands to her cheeks as tears ran down her face. “How you’ve grown.”
“Do I know you?” He inquired, tiling his head. She had long, dark brown hair, and honey coloured eyes. She was beautiful. Her face contorted, a fake smile slowly plastering to her lips.
“Apparently, not any more. Listen to my, quickly, my child. You must save the girl.” The woman said hurriedly, strolling nearer Sebastian, who was frozen in place.
“Girl? What girl?”
“Promise me you’ll save her!”
“But who-”
“PROMISE ME!!!”
Sebastian awoke with a start, pulling out his dagger from under his pillow and holding it out in front of him. Nemo jumped up form his place on Sebastian’s chest, and hissed quietly, his tail flicking back and forth in anger. Sebastian slowly put his dagger back beneath his pillow, and picked up Nemo, rolling onto his side, and stroking the feline’s head softly.
“Sorry Nemo. Daddy was having a bad dream…” Sebastian murmured, closing his eyes and concentrating on the woman from his dream. She seemed so familiar, but where? Nemo started to meow loudly, causing Sebastian to open his eyes again, and groan. “Time for food?”
“Meow!”
“Alright, alright, I’m up.” He grumbled, sitting up and swinging his legs over the side of the bed. He looked out his window, it still being dark out. “I should probably do my shopping now, since it’s dark.” He thought,, getting up and wandering into the kitchenette. From a lower cabinet, he grabbed his last can of fancy cat food for Nemo, who had hopped up on the counter, and was mewling.
“Daddy’s gonna go to the store now, so you stay here, and watch the apartment, okay? ‘Kay. Love you Nemo.” Sebastian opened the cat-food and set it on the counter. He grabbed a pull over hoodie from the back of his couch, and shrugged it on, pulling out a pocket knife from his pants.
“Be good Nemo~. I’ll be back!”
