Dear Grandpa and Grandma,
Hilmoria is just like the painting hanging on our wall. And I realize Alec isn’t so bad, at least his drawing are good, just look at the drawing he did for me.
Another plus side is I found a place to stay, the rent is reasonable and the place is...um...indescribable. It’s a little different from the flyer but still okay.
As soon as she write the dot, the window crashes down...again.
“Well...I might have to do something with the window.” Bliss said, getting back to her letter when...
Another loud crash plus some ‘bing bang boom’ sounded from downstairs. Bliss heave a sigh, putting down her pen, wondering what is all that commotion about.
She rushes downstairs only to find the front door fell on the ground, Blitz and Sherlock chasing a crow. The whole place became a mess! Well...not that it is squeaky clean in the first place but at least it’s not like it has gone through a tornado.
Bliss felt a bulging headache drumming on her temples.
“Blitz, Sherlock. Stop!” She cried.
The two seems to not hear her.
“Guys, stop! You’re going to tear down this place.”
Bliss’s second attempt gone down the drain as Blitz jump onto the ceiling lamp, trying to catch the crow.
The ceiling lamp couldn’t withstand Blitz’s weight and came crashing down.
The loud noise and the hole on the ceiling doesn’t seem to affect the three as they continue on with their little game. Bliss does a quick-over towards her humble home and felt an angry tide being stir up within her.
Balling up her fist, her eyes narrowed into a menacing glare.
“You...three...” Her voice came out calm, just like silence before a furious storm. “STOP RIGHT NOW!”
In a flash, the three stop.
In mere seconds, the three line up in front of Bliss; head down like guilty kids waiting for punishments from their mother.
“Wait, why should I listen to her? I’m not her-” The crow whispered to Blitz and Sherlock.
“Quiet! No whispering allowed.” Bliss sent a glare to the crow.
The crow felt a shiver down his spine and it gulps, letting out a string of awkward laughs. “Ne-nevermind.”
Bliss stared at each of them intensely into the eyes. Feeling that they already get how mad she is, she sighed.
“Blitz, I thought you’d know better than to play inside the house.”
“Sherlock, Blitz is your little brother.”
Sherlock’s jaw dropped: “Wait a second, I’m not his-”
Bliss raised a brow, arms crossed.
“Ne-nevermind.” Sherlock gulped.
“As I was saying, Blitz is your little brother, you should show a good example instead of joining in his silly games.”
“And you!” Bliss turned to face the crow. “Mr. Crow, we just move in and instead of welcome us as your neighbor. You came to ruin my house?”
Blitz and Sherlock looks at the crow, “Oooohhh~ Somebody’s in trouble.”
The crow sent daggers over to the duo.
“As punishment, you three are going to help clean this mess up!” She said, earning a wave of whines from the three.
“But before this, we’re going shopping.” Bliss said, grabbing her backpack and hat.
She steps out from the house, urging Blitz and Sherlock to exit the place before she levitate the door back up.
“This will have to do.” Turning to the crow. “Can you help us to look after the house while we’re gone?”
The crow nods and did a salute.
Bliss thanked the crow for its help. During this time, Bliss doesn’t know that one day Black (the crow) will actually risks its life to save her and her friends.
After another endless hours of walking, Sherlock whine like the whole world is against it.
“Sherlock...it’s only 20 minutes since Bliss manage to get a ride into the city plus you had been sitting on her shoulder for the whole walk!” Blitz roll its’ eyes at the rodent.
Sherlock straighten itself, scoffing at Blitz. “Said the pup who let our angel carry him this whole time.” It adjust its bow tie after sighting the grand building which is only a few feet away from them. “I’ll have you know, I’m whining on behalf of Bliss.”
Blitz struggles and jump off from Bliss’s arms. “Whatever you say that makes you sleep at night.”
Bliss flips open her planner, mumbling in the process. “Alright, let’s see.”
Looking at the shopping list and after a few seconds of rummaging through her coin bag, Bliss felt the need to get a part time job soon.
Bliss figure it will probably be cheaper if she buy in the market but Sherlock keep pointing at the fancy department store.
“Come on, Bliss! Let’s go there. Come on~” Sherlock’s eyes are practically shining by now.
Blitz shake its head, looking at Sherlock’s childish behaviour.
Seeing how grand it is, Bliss is having second thoughts when she heard a yell at the entrance, then a girl was pushed to the ground.
With a gasp, Bliss rushes over to help her up.
“Are you okay?”
The girl trembles a little, shaking her head.
“What’s all this commotion about?”
The crowd surrounding them gasped at the voice, Bliss swear she heard girls squealing and some even faint after seeing the owner of that voice.
Before Bliss can take a good look, she was pulled into a tight embrace.
“Bliss! I missed you!”
Blitz and Sherlock: Σ(･口･)
Ethan was practically beaming at Bliss when she mentioned his name.
“What are you doing here Ethan?” Bliss is beyond shock.
“This is my family’s department store.” He said, motioning to the grand building, the one that Sherlock had been rushing Bliss to go.
Bliss’s jaw dropped by the news.
“Bliss, you never write back to me.” Ethan pouts.
Young master is pouting!!! Ethan’s butler eyes went as wide as watermelon.
Ethan’s fangirls: Awwww~ Ethan is so cute.
“What are you talking about? After the first letter, you never reply to me. Wait...you’ve been in Hilmoria all this time?”
Something hit Bliss and she just realize she may have did something stupid all these years.
Ethan takes in Bliss’s change of expressions from her shock, to her eyes widening in realization and finally her eyes briefly looks at him, then looking away sheepishly, her hands moving up to her chest and she bites her lower lips out of uneasiness.
He chuckled: “Let me guess, you just realize all these years you got my address wrong.”
Bliss mouth formed an ‘o’ as she blinks innocently at him. “How did yo-” Then, her hands went up to her mouth. “No, I did not do something stupid like this. The mail must’ve lost on the way.”
“Of course you didn’t.” Ethan smiled, oblivious of how gentle and loving his gaze are.
“I’m telling you the truth!” Bliss puffed up her cheeks.
Ethan couldn’t help but letting out another chuckle.
“I really miss you, Bliss.”
Bliss blinks, then a smile blossom on her feature. “Me too.”
Girl on the floor: .... Did they forget about me?
Fangirls + crowd + all the other people around them: Not just you, they forget about us as well.
Shop attendant: Uhh...So...what should I do with the girl?
Butler: *Glared at the shop attendant* Just get back to work.
Shop attendant: But...the girl...
Butler: *Picks up the receipt beside the girl and shows it to the shop attendant, a brow raised.*
Shop attendant: I’ll get back to work.
Girl on the floor: What about me?
Cherilyn: You’re just here, so Bliss and reunite with Ethan, now run along.
Girl on the floor: So cruel!!! *runs away crying while biting a handkerchief*
