Kenan couldn't believe what he had just done. He couldn't figure out what he was thinking at that moment when he told Frank he would go on a date with him. He also went as low as to wait for Cairo to be close enough to hear him agree to go on a date with Frank.

Kenan couldn't help but feel a little bit childish after what happened. Once Frank had left, Kenan went back into the office and continued his work. Cairo was at his desk going through some documents and paying no attention to Kenan's presence.

“I sent out the email to the other departments like you requested,” Kenan said

“Good” Cairo responded

“I also heard ms. June is due for delivery any time soon so she won't be delivering the files anymore I would have to go pick them up” Kenan continued

“I see” Cairo replied

“Did you have a busy morning?” Kenan asked

“Yes, my girlfriend was giving a speech at city hall. I went there to support her” Cairo replied

“Oh I didn't know you had a girlfriend,” Kenan said

“And I didn't know you had a boyfriend” Cairo replied

“Well no we aren't serious yet,” Kenan said

“I see” Cairo replied then stood up and made himself a coffee. a sign that he wasn't interested in continuing the conversation
