(Deren) I step up to the arena once again and this time I am going against Cenny. In his battle against Paige, he seemed kinda cocky after he beat her. He is also pretty strong. As soon as we start he says, “Hmm... Wiro’s Touch would be useful, oh well.” He then starts to move swiftly around the arena, then he throws and axe at me and I dodge it. I throw two kunai at him, and one hits his axe. It comes flying back at me and I catch it in between my middle and index fingers. “Let me try that.” He said, he then summoned a giant hand from the earth and it launched at me. It glowed with magic and sand seemed to leak in a trail behind it. It tried to punch at me, but I summon a huge dark figure. They clash, shaking the ground around us. I then pull out a Katana and say, “May I have this dance?” He seems intimidated and sighs “Eh, sure.” He then pulls out his axe, or ‘212 Axe’ he calls it. He pulls out some type of longsword and combines them. Then a new type of axe appears, it was more slim with a dragon handle, the axe itself had a magic aura. “May I present, the axe of Wiro Sableng,” he says. We then rush each other, and I jump over him. Out of thin air, dark samurai armor appears on my body. I then stab his arm, and he slumps onto the ground. But I sense some type of attack. He then jolts up, but i’m ready for it. I summon a shield, and his axe slams through it. He then splits the axe back into “212 Axe” and the longsword. He attempts to flail the longsword at me as he backflipped, and I see his wound regenerate. I look at the timer and it says thirty seconds, so I have to act quick. I rush him and I stab and slash at his leg multiple times in the same spot, he then falls down but manages to knock me back with the hilt of his 212 axe. Also wow that thing is heavy! I then attempt to slice his arms, and deep cuts appeared, and for the first time I saw blood on his body and he starts wobbling, I then stab his other leg and he falls flat on his face. The referee comes over and announces the winner. He says: “The winner of the semi-finals round one goes to…. Deren R. !” Cenny’s whole body suddenly flew up, his wounds regenerating. ”Regeneration kicked in, WAIT WHAT ITS OVER?!” He exclaimed. I go over to shake his hand, he seems to want to deny it but he accepts it five seconds later. “Rematch? Maybe i’ll pull out a surprise” he says. I politely decline and I sit down next to Sophie once again, and like before, I wished her luck.

(Sophie) After the intense battle between Deren and Cenny, which had literally everybody on the edge of their seats, I was to go against Samantha. She had power mimicry, which basically means she can steal your powers. I walked up onto the arena and the countdown commenced. As soon as we started she ran towards me I run at full speed towards her. She throws her sword at my foot, and it goes straight through. I landed roughly on my back. I then take the sword out of my foot and shoot crystals at it. It breaks and she seems pretty angry at me. She then pulls out two daggers and rushes me. I then shoot two blasts at her and one hit and send her flying across the room. She almost immediately stands up and throws knives at me. I summon a crystal wall and one of the knives goes through it and I dodge it. I summon a crystal katana, and I rush her and she touches my leg. She then brings crystals out of the ground and I launch up into the air. I then shoot a large barrage of crystal shards at her. When they hit, she falls to the ground, and she is bloody. She then starts to crawl away, but she stops midway and flops to the ground. The referee then picks her up and announces that I win. I sit down and watch the other rounds’ semifinals. After the twenty-third round, we are told to go back to our dorms, and that we are to report back here at exactly ten a.m. after breakfast. So everyone gets up and goes back to their dorms.
