The Day After

(Deren) I wake up in the nurse's in the bright sunlight. I also wake up with Lilly, Sophie, Ross, and The Principal surrounding me. I ask them for space and I get up. I ask what happened and the Principal said that he would also like to know that. I tell him: “Cenny appeared in front of my dorm, and he forced me to give him a rematch.” A girl named Marlilla helped him.” I add. The principal says: “Okay, I will cancel the tournament and we will start our regular classes today.” I get up and ask what happened to my clothes. Josiah says: “They were ripped to shreds after the battle.” I then walk out of the room, and towards my dorm. Everytime I walk past people I hear snickering. When I finally arrive there there is yellow tape surrounding the crater and I see something gold in the middle. I hop over the tape and slide down the side of the crater. I pick it up and it’s my key. I climb back up the side of the crater with the energy that I have left. I jump back over the tape and I unlock my dorm. I go into my bag and pull out some clothes. I then get into the shower, hop out, put on my clothes, and go to breakfast. When I arrive at the cafeteria I get a tray and get in the line. I get my food and sit down. Across the cafeteria, I see Shaine harassing a guy and his girlfriend. The guy unexpectedly punches him in the face and Shaine does the same back, and he flies into the lunch line. The girl then tries to punch him and he wraps his arms around her. She yells curse words and she calls him a pervert, but he still doesn’t let go. I get out of my seat, I start to approach him and he sees me. He says: “ One on one without your girlfriend you weak bum!” I then rush him at full speed and he punches me in the face. I flip and tumble across the cafeteria and when I finally come to a stop, I see him standing in front of me. He picks me up and chucks me through a wall. I get up and I see in the corner of my eye, I see someone wearing a black hoodie put something in Shaine’s drink. He comes over to me and I pull out a kunai and I cut him across his face. He then throws me again, this time through a table. He goes over to his table, picks up his drink and drinks it. He immediately drops to the ground and the cafeteria gasps. Someone checks his pulse and says: “HE’S DEAD!” At that exact moment, the principal walks in and asks what’s going on. Lilly goes over and tells him what happened. He then pulls out his phone and calls someone. He also tells everyone to leave the cafeteria. I pull out my schedule and I look at it:

○ Art-11:00 - 12:30(Room:104)

○ Lunch-12:30 - 1:30(Lunchroom)

○ Math-1:30 - 2:30(Room:256)

○ Gym-2:30 - 4:00(Gym)

○ Homeroom-4:00 - 5:00(Room:582)

○ Dinner-5:00 - 6:00(Lunchroom)

I begin to walk to my first class and when I finally get there, everyone is standing outside waiting for the teacher. We wait, and wait, and wait some more. I check my phone and it’s been exactly fifty-five minutes since I arrived. I turn to a student that is unknown to me, he responded before I could speak. “Hello” He weakly waved. I ask for his name and he says that it’s Joseph. I ask his power and he says that he can harness fire. Then, out of frustration a student kicks down the door and sees a teacher lying on the floor in a pool of blood with a hallowed knife in his chest. I got closer and examined it, and it had a note. The note read “This pervert has gotten what was coming to him”- Anonymous. I then ran out of the room along with everyone else. While running, I saw Marlilla leaving the back of the building. She continued to join our crowd and she was right next to me. She knocked me out. Later, I wake up in a dorm. It had a fully purple and black interior including a purple lamp and a purple spotted rug. I try to move but my arms and legs are tied to a chair.
